  1. I've owned that same model of bike and don't recognise this part. It has an O ring on one end so pushes into something, could possibly be a coil from an Ecig maybe.
  2. What Tankbag said. I got mine done by TW Suspension tech in Preston, Cost £40, and made a huge difference, well worth the money, the guys a wizard at setting a bike up.
  3. Mine is built in Japan, however it states year of manufacture is 2017 when it's a 2011 model.
  4. Husband: My wife is missing. She went to rescue people from the flood yesterday and has not come home... Sergeant at Police Station: What is her height? Husband: I'm not sure. A little over five-feet tall? Sergeant: Weight? Husband: Don't know. Not slim, not really fat. Sergeant: Color of eyes? Husband: Sort of brown I think. Never really noticed. Sergeant: Color of hair? Husband: Changes a couple times a year. Maybe dark brown now. I can’t remember. Sergeant: What was she wearing? Husband: Could have been pants, or maybe a skirt or shorts. I don't know exactly. Sergeant: What kind of car did she go in? Husband: She actually went on my bike... Sergeant: What kind of bike was it? 5. I use Lucas no 2 Red & Tacky grease. Superb stuff, zero fling and 1 application is good for 5-600 mies.
  6. How was it & what did you think of it? It’s a fantastic bit of kit, the power and torque just keep coming and coming it hits 130 in seconds and then you have to put it in 4th gear Corners like it’s on rails, feels really planted even when leant right over. All in all a quite superb machine, but worth £20k? Or even £24k for the SE+ model? Nah not unless you’re a lottery winner and money is no problem.
  7. A good dealer will let you test ride anything as they want your future custom. Yesterday I went into Wheels of Peterborough and spoke to them about the Kawasaki H2SX SE, told them I would be in the market for either one of these or a new Z1000SX sometime next year, Half an hour later and a bit of paperwork, they gave me the keys to the £20k beast below. https://imgur.com/wl2Pv50 I rode it around the countryside for the next 90 minutes and now I need a surgeon to get the smile off my face. And when I do decide to buy a new bike I will definitely be contacting them to see what deals they have to offer, even though I live 150 miles away. So don't be afraid to ask, you should never buy a bike until you've rode it and a good dealer appreciates this.
  8. What he said ^^^ Pull over let them pass and follow them, match their speed at a safe distance, you'll soon know if anythings coming at them round a blind bend.
  9. Ya gotta love a good old fashioned dick measuring contest aint ya.
  10. It's a well known fact that Green is the fastest colour. http://i67.tinypic.com/71769c.jpg
  11. Is it wrong to embarrass them while riding two up on a tourer with full luggage? I would say it's compulsory Stu.
  12. As a rule of thumb, if the car has any of the following written on it they are usually going to try and race you. M series, RS, Type R, ST, Audi. Always be aware of this and avoid them (Or not if you fancy a bit of fun). You'll live longer once you realise this.

    Breakdown cover

I'm in the RAC, unlimited European cover for the full year is quite expensive (about an extra £180 on the annual uk breakdown cover). I just phone them up for cover on each trip. I went to Ireland for 3 days and got the top cover for £17.00, that was breakdown, recovery of me & bike, the full monty. Went to France for 5 days cover was £21.00 full package again. Going to Belgium in July for 5 Days again £21.00. My advice would be speak to the AA and try and add cover just for the trip dates, then compare it with the RAC and your insurance company, it's fairly inexpensive for the peace of mind.
  14. Rising moon MCC hold a bike night at the Travellers call Bredbury, i think it's usually the 3rd Weds of each month. You can find them on facebook, it's usually a decent turn out. Southsiders have one at Houldsworth mill, not sure what night though, never been to that one.
  15. Over the last4 years or so I've had the PR3's 4's and currently running the 5's, They have improved with each generation but all were excellent tyres, I'm almost 7k into the 5's now and having had them all over the IOM, Ireland and France I'm well impressed with them, they are frankly quite superb tyres, I will be going to Belgium in July and will change them before I go as they are very slightly starting to square off but I will definitely be getting another set, can't recommend them enough.
  16. Well I'm all packed ready to ride to Le Mans in the morning, really looking forward to this one.
  17. This is my latest one, I have others on various parts of my body but they are quite old now and will probably be covered by new ones soon. https://i.imgur.com/rYf6x6C.jpg

  19. Anyone rode this route before? Just got back from a weekend trip to Ireland, we went specifically to ride the Wild Atlantic way and boy was it worth it. It's basically the N59 from Sligo to Galway, 200 miles of some of the best roads and scenery I've ever rode on and through. If you're planning a trip to the Emerald Isle then put this route on your itinerary. I'm not a great one for pictures but I will try and upload the 1 or 2 I managed to take.
  20. I insist my mates refer to mine as "The Award Winning Kawasaki"
  21. They have the World Conker championships just outside Oundle each year, my ex father in law used to go very year and the Mother in law entered and finished second once, she was the second best conker player in the world. Never shut up about it for ages. just a bit of useless info there.
  22. Another vote for the worlds fastest Indian here. One of my fave films ever, not just motorbike films. Based on a true story as well, if you haven’t seen it yet then you definitely should.
  23. I did a lonely hearts ad once. https://imgur.com/WZjEQJV Not one bleeding response
