Friend had a new gearbox replaced under warranty in his range rover, at a specialist independent service centre authorised by jlr, it was replaced under warranty, the car rejected the transplant and it was stuck on one of their ramps for 3 days whilst the official jlr specialist trouble shooting team tried to get the gearbox to talk to the car, I believe in the end they had to reprogram half the ECU's on the car, technology ehhh.

Just been reading an article where a couple who were one of the first to install an air source heat pump 20yr ago are now facing a 17000 bill to replace it, they are in a huff as they can't get the 7k grant as it's not a new install. They paid 10k in the first place Gov spokesman defended the technology saying home owners could save £100.00 a year due to efficiency savings So save £100.00 a year, 20yrs that's 2k, Now I'm not great with maths but that don't seem like a great saving to me

The wife has a completely irrational fear of the little buggers and no matter what I say she invariably goes into a blind panic with the usual outcome of getting stung. Last time was in turkey with a particularly large bugger, it landed on her in bed, don't move I said, nope she leapt out of bed fell over, trapped the poor bugger in the process leaving it no other options other than stinging her and so it did, no helping some folk.

I agree with it all we live near dual carriageway and by near I mean several streets away and in the warmer months all you hear in the morning is idiots screwing bikes in first and second, I would pay for one of those decibel cameras We also have some phantom rider who likes to hoon around about 2am on a weekend I would pay for them to be shipped to the front line in Ukraine where they could make as much noise as they wanted
