I'm mostly suffering with some form of cold this weekend FFS.

We've had issues with them too, one annoying flight started with the announcement of no alcohol due to re stock issues just as we got in the air, not a problem except for the large group next to us who they sold full bottles of vodka to and allowed them to get hammered with resulting noise etc etc etc, lovely long haul flight that was.

Not much in the world of spannering is impossible but sometimes it's just not worth the effort for diminishing returns. If your bored and it's for fun then go for it

Best off with a good even gap, room for expansion in future if when wood expands.

Only thing I would suggest for future longevity and making deck last longer is, leave a bigger gap around the edge, stops contact with walls, traps less moisture,allows it to dry quicker.

Yes, but beware, there's a nasty crack hidden by a bush, you could come a cropper and end up looking like a right fanny or end up looking at one.

Received my first almost convincing txt attempt at a scam, they spoofed the Halifax name so it came as the last msg as if from Halifax, wanted me to click on a link, first warning sign. Second warning sign, odd use of capitals to try and add urgency. Can't use automated report as spam as even if I tick report but don't block it still blocks further texts from Halifax, deleted it, twats. Can see how vulnerable etc can be fooled by such things.
