1. There's charity ride outs right through the year for one thing or another, usually advertised on one of the local sites such as 3FM or Energy FM
2. Just shows that the Isle of Man isn't just about the the TT, Bikers over here do get together regularly in the name of charity, and this really was a worthy charity worth getting out and supporting
3. A novel Themed ride out today on the Island, ">
4. Playing devils advocate I would argue the following points: Their privy to intel that the general public isn't If something were to happen and god forbid it ever did, there would be the usual outcry "what were the Police doing" seems to be a no win situation for them, damned if they do damned if they don't, personally I say fair play to them for being proactive and trying to keep everyone safe.
5. Totally agree with this, I Rode a bike for years on the road before getting my car licence, I personally think it makes you a better driver, I think all car drivers shout have to do CBT before being given a licence.

WTF!!

Downside of living in the country I suppose, I don't think you'd have been able to pick this up, looks like the horse had a dose of the Brad Pitts .... I suppose I should feel sorry for him

WTF!!

Would love to find the owner, I'd dump it on the bonnet of her car and see how she liked it....

WTF!!

You're probably right, it still isn't pleasant though, especially when it splattered all over your bike, at least on this occasion my bike was parked and it didn't catch me out on the apex of a bend at 70mph like it normally does

WTF!!

OK can someone, maybe a horsey person if theres any on here answer this one ..... if my dog craps on the road, pavement or anywhere else I always pick it up and bin it when I get home. Today my bike is parked down on the kerb side, I seen three horse riders go past, when I went down a little later one of the horses had crapped so close to my bike that it splattered all over the rear wheel and swing arm .... really P-----D off about it, why does it seem to be socially acceptable for horses to do this but if a dog does it people scream from the highest heights, its all over social media and you get fined, shite is shite at the end of the day .... i'm sure someone will say that if I live in the country then I have to expect these things to happen
11. Bikes seem to be an easy target for it, came out of Tescos earlier this year and found some bloke sitting his kid on my bike and taking photos on his mobile, he didn't seem to see the problem with it and didn't even apologise, wonder what he would have said if I'd of done the same with his Range Rover Evoque that I seen him drive off in!
12. I had a similar problem some time ago, I invested in a shoei and have never looked back, money well spent, comfortable, quiet and really does the job, I reviewed it in the tried and tested section of the forum. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

14. I read on a you tube feed that they were moped thieves, whatever they did they fell foul of the law and this certainly gets a message out there, I'd like to shake those officers by the hand ....
15. Well done Manchester Police! All forces should do the same https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/crime/why-cant-they-do-this-in-london-plain-clothes-police-officers-on-scrambler-motorbikes-grab-three-moped-thugs-on-a-busy-roundabout-in-manchester/ar-AAzbwOn?li=BBoPWjQ
16. Been a cracking year, best weather I can recall for the TT, hope it stays like this for the FOM in August, been out again today, getting the last few laps in over the mountain while its still one way
17. He was a true Manx hero .... A local legend
18. One hell of a rider! RIP Dan, you'll be missed....
19. The end of another TT .... Can't believe we'll have to wait another twelve months till we can do it all again
20. Set to be a busy one this year from all accounts, already posts going out to try and find accommodation for people, there's a lot going on down the promenade
21. TT week will soon be here again, I just wanted to wish everyone coming over a safe and enjoyable fortnight and for the uninitiated, take it easy and get a feel for the roads and the masses of bikes you'll be riding with, " I just hope the weather is as good as it has been all this week"
22. yes, a Caribbean holiday would be par for the course. She wishes, may get a trip to Silverstone
23. Just installed the above day time riding lights on my S10, absolutely brilliant, very bright and really stand out, picture is a bit crap but gives you the idea, not used them at night yet but will see when I'm away, they really increase your chances of being seen, I think they're money well spent .... Suppose I'll have to buy the wife something now
24. I've just bought the drift ghost, great little camera, fits nicely "and unobtrusively" on the side of my helmet, video footage is 1st rate, stable and clear, definitely on par with the go pro I had, Its also very easy to set up and use. On the down side, the screen is frustratingly small and therefore very difficult to see what the settings are and the App, free on the app store, doesn't work on IOS 11, it says its waiting for the developer to update it, it looks like the quality of the hardware has overtook the software. Would definitely recommend this camera though.
