  1. Get a dealer in Dublin to look at it.
  2. I don't know how you would actually lift the bike onto something on the tow hitch. Perhaps what you need is something like this: https://www.motolug.com/ That can be broken down when not in use for easy storage.
  3. Hello and welcome, ditto
  4. The following all have lots of stuff on filtering: MCRider, FortNine, Motojuisu, RoadCraftNottingham, RoyalJordanian
  5. they look like the dogs cajones
  6. Optimate 2 or Oxford Oximiser 900. Both can be left connected indefinitely.
  7. I wouldn't on the BMW the quickest way to snap the side stand.
  8. Hence we have different numbers each year
  9. Hello & welcome.. Hope it goes well.
  10. Can we get the new link in the quick links at the top of the page please. The one there is for last years (2018)
  11. I hope that 2019 brings you what you wish for
  12. I guess our offspring will get just as annoyed with us over our complete inability to understand whatever technology is around in the future.
  13. Wait until she phones you at 2:00 am with some random hallucinations she’s had. My mum has started doing that. But I put it down to the morphine they were giving her in ICU.
  14. Too early for me to be at J&S for 10:00. If it was 12:30 that would suit me better.
  15. Use a quad lock case and mount for the phone. J&S and Sports bike shop have lots of tank bags.
  16. I had a sat nav in the car but Waze does everything better so gave the sat nav to a friend. Also the iPhone is with me anyway so it is easier to use it for navigation. As a general rule a car sat nav is used to get from point A to point B usually via the fastest route A bike sat nav is so much more than this .....compare waze to a bike sat nav on say a 10 day tour of Europe That's why I use Scenic as well.
  17. Hello and welcome. Plenty here from neck of the woods
  18. Certainly getting lost is a good way to explore new places.
  19. once you use one you will realise its the way to go Ask @Hoggs she has been converted I had a sat nav in the car but Waze does everything better so gave the sat nav to a friend. Also the iPhone is with me anyway so it is easier to use it for navigation.
  20. I use Waze and Scenic on my iPhone. I don’t see the point of a dedicated sat nav.
  21. That would work. Have a look at MachineMart as they have lots of generators
  22. If you going down the generator route you'd be better off with a 240v one so that you can use an Optimate battery conditioner and power other things as well.
  23. If you are going to the trouble of using a generator then you might just as well use the bike. Solar panel would be much more environmentally friendly and a lot cheaper as it can be left plugged in all the time, depends on where bike is though.
  24. Get a wiring diagram and a multimeter is the first step. The next step would be to find a competent electrician.
  25. I gave up carrying a wallet ages ago.
