1. I'd like 42 please. The answer to life the universe and everything
2. Yours must be one of the few that hasn’t been parked in the side of a house.
3. Tell him that you are likely to pass MOD2 quicker if you can practice on it before your test. Assuming he wants you as a riding buddy.
4. Yes we all use ACF-50 to keep the corrosion at bay.
5. Personally I’d get out there and practice your skills and improve your road craft. It doesn’t really matter what bike you do those on. Also bikes like to be used so there is no point in not using the 125. What are you going to do with it otherwise?
6. Have no fear only a very few know about it. Until it gets put on FaceBook
7. Hi Rob, sorry you must ride a 125cc on a CBT. You can't ride anything larger until you have passed A1 or A2 or DAS
8. Such a person should never have any sort of driving/riding licence. They are a menace to themselves and everybody else on the road. We already too many of these on the roads as it is, which is why I think the driving test should be considerably harder and force people to go through the same hoops to get a car licence that motorcyclists do.
9. Hello, can't see photos
10. Riding a bike gives you more road awareness than being cosseted in the protection of a car. The best skill you can learn is anticipation of what others around you are going to do, and that only comes with practice. You can also gain a lot of knowledge by reading books like Roadcraft the Police Motorcylist's manual. But there is nothing better than getting out there.
11. No sorry. Just saying hello as it is your first post.
12. Hello
13. Hello. As above it’s the dealership’s responsibility to ensure the bike is fit for purpose and show you how it works.
14. Are you getting an airbag jacket to go with it? That seems superfluous
15. At least you was spared from jail http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-sussex-46482339 Hey geofferz have you seen this?
16. those 8' wide BMWs are in the horse and cart category
17. Wow! Why?
18. Hello Laura Can’t help with bike. But have you looked at getting a Haynes manual to help you do basic maintenance. Anything safety critical i’d leave to a garage and qualified mechanic to deal with.
19. I could be tempted with the Ponderosa for lunch on Monday. It's ages since I've done a ride out, due to weather and work.
20. Good result. I’m not convinced that multi car or bike policies are a good deal but I guess they work sometimes
21. Out with the Dubbin when the boots are nice and dry
22. One of my friends has a NC750x and he uses it as his "daily bike". That would have been my second choice after the Tiger, but I was keen on a British bike.
23. I do really like the look of the tigers. Have sat on one in a dealership, seemed very comfy. fuelly seems to suggest mid 40's mpg, what do you get from yours Mike? I have only done 3800 miles since I bought it last August (as I said I'm a fair weather rider and have three cars as well) and over that time it averages 51.28mpg. I have had up to 74mpg between fill ups and the worst I got was 45mpg but that was a short fill after some spirited riding on one of my IAM observed rides. Mostly it is around the mid 60s
