1. I was thinking about that exact bike but I heard they have reliability issues? Also do you think 5ft8 is tall enough for that bike? With boots on I am about 5ft9/5 I’ve not had any reliability problems in fact it has been totally reliable for the 18 months I’ve owned it, bought 2nd hand in July 2017. I’m also 5’8” and with the seat in the lowest position I can flat foot both sides. However it is a little top heavy and have initially dropped it several times when stationary, until I got used to it, causing some slight scuffing on the crash bars. Not dropped it for well over 12 months though so I guess I’m used to it now. The height and riding position makes the Tiger brilliant for town work, filtering is easy and it’s got plenty of oomph for when you need it without being silly powerful.
2. My 2015 Tiger 800 has TC. No idea of value though.
3. I did it once and it felt really odd, like not wearing a seatbelt in the car. I realised very quickly and like Gerontious rectified the situation
4. And idiots who interpret them
5. Did someone mention biscuits? Yes but you’ve had more than your fair share
6. Some days will be horrible but the good days should more than outweigh the bad days. Keep your wits about you and stay safe.

10. Sorry to hear this. Several friends live in Chorlton and they say it has a higher burglary rate than many other areas. I hope that you manage to get the things back quickly.

14. it would be interesting to see what he says if you message him that HPI says it's a Cat D write-off. But yes definitely walk away from this one
15. Or you get stuck behind some moron trying to go up Hubbards Hill in a 4 wheel drive with summer tyres on.
16. WHAT YOU ARE MISSING IS There are 9 other city's in the UK who are going to follow suit .. Birmingham is one so is Manchester I don't know who the others are (not looked ) Birmingham has opted out including motor bikes in the ULEZ i guess the others have not .. ALSO its NOT just the city it be the surrounding areas that will be included .so saying bollocks to London (which is fine by me as I won't ride a bike round that dump )it's the ones who follow we need to think about.. as if they follow Birmingham mayor or London TWAT Also my log book don't have anything in the section about emissions how do i find out what mine is looked on the MOT as well nothing... Emissions will be on V5, section 4 Vehicle Details at the bottom
17. Only if they are fitted with all season or winter tyres (tires) One enraging thing - why in the UK nearly all tyres supplied as standard on cars are basically summer tyres? If I visit my brother in Germany under German law my tyres are illegal in winter so I have been trying for years to get all season tyres which only recently have started to become available. I don't want winter tyres as it means a full set of wheels and then having to store them. I have been using Michelin Cross Climate All Season Tyres on my estate car and they are absolutely brilliant. I have a gently sloping drive and with summer tyres on none of my cars will get up it if there is even a sniff of snow. With the All Seasons on the estate easy gets up the drive even when it had 8 inches of snow on last winter. The handing in the summer has been great as well. Obviously the other two cars stay in the garage when the weather is inclement. The Michelins are also compliant with German and Alpine law for winter tyres.
18. The stupidity of others doesn't give you the right to ride/drive dangerously. Send the video to the police as you have got a good visual of their number plate.
19. In which case they are driving dangerously and you'd be better off letting past.
20. Only if they are fitted with all season or winter tyres (tires), If you think otherwise you need to watch this: ">
21. You must be able to stop in the distance that you can see to be clear. To do anything else is stupidity in the extreme. This applies to car or bike.
22. As above Nothing on earth would get me in to that den of thieves
23. Well done emmajaneg hope this one avoids the clutches of the scum bags. Beef up the security at BF’s. Brave to be out in this weather.
