  1. I've been aware of this for some time, and it seems that SP Connect now have problems with their vibration dampener too. Anyway, it's clearly unreasonable (IMO, anyway) to expect Quadlock to provide the new gizmo free to all users as they'd probably go bust. I bought one last week, and it arrived today... £16 (less their standard discount of 10%) isn't going to break the bank.
  2. Yeah, it’s a nightmare - if it’s not traffic it’s cameras.
  3. Some thoughts about the new bike (the YouTube channel is called "Guy On a Bike", so...).
  4. I like them too. Would love one as a second bike.
  5. Yes it is - well spotted. Bet it sounds bloody lovely with those pipes..... Just to be sure though I think a video should be posted It sounds unbelievable, Rich. I did shoot a video - I just need to edit it - but with the mic inside my helmet you don't get the full sound effects, sadly.
  6. Thank you, and it's funny you should ask that. I went out for about an hour's ride yesterday and three or four cars did indeed pull over to let me past/through. I had two stationary car drivers wind their windows down for a chat, a couple of thumbs up from cars driving past me in the other lane, and a long chat with someone when I was parked up. I've never come across such interest in my bike before.
  7. That’s fine - the BMW is a gorgeous bike and I think it looked amazing. Perhaps it was just time for a change - there are lots of lovely bikes out there.
  8. Nice looking bike. Is that Luton Hoo? Yes it is - well spotted.
  9. Well, a nice ride with a set of new Road 5s fitted was quite an eye opener! The handling is up there with that of my old Street Triple, and the Showa/Ohlins suspension set-up is wonderful. A couple of photos... what a beautiful looking thing it is!
  10. Don't blame you, Geoff. Not sure what your forum is but feel free to send me a link. Www.intlwatchleague.com - pretty chilled, never a single troll post or argument. Thanks - will take a proper look.
  11. Without question a thing of beauty. Probably not for commuting in London though
  12. I don't have a single photo but they're all here, Geoff. Are you on TZ much these days? So nice. New sub too! Well done. Nah I'm not on tz or wus - I'm out of the game. Still on my little forum for the chat though. Don't blame you, Geoff. Not sure what your forum is but feel free to send me a link.
  13. Actually it makes perfect sense, Bob
  14. OP, my experience suggests that most of the people who join you on their CBT will not have sat on a bike before. The trainers are used to it and expect it, so don't worry unnecessarily. I'm sure you'll be fine if you just go ahead and book yourself in.
  15. Only too aware! Care to share a quick and dirty collection pic?! I don't have a single photo but they're all here, Geoff. Are you on TZ much these days?
  16. I do like my watches, actually (as the OP will be aware).
  17. Not for me - I find myself in a place whilst riding that music would just... spoil.
  18. Cheers! Thank you. The effect when you roll off the throttle is hard to describe - suffice it so say that it's literally a continuous series pops and crackles... incredible to hear
  19. Haha... that'll be about 4, or 5 if you include the YBR In what 2 years?! Yes, but the YBR doesn't really count!
  20. Had a nice little ride out to Harpenden today and caught the closing stages of a cricket match in the late afternoon sun. The bike looked lovely, but the sound... I've never heard a bike pop on the overrun like this one does
  21. Much appreciated, thank you.
  22. Thanks, and sure... I'm sure I'll miss it!
  23. Thanks matey
  24. Thanks. It'll take a bit of getting used to but it looks and sounds amazing.
  25. Haha... that'll be about 4, or 5 if you include the YBR
