  2. Agreed. I use a Sena 10C Pro and it's barely noticeable. I purchased a rather streamlined light weight ghost x Sounds great x
  3. Agree with this. SBS are undoubtedly the best retailer I've ever dealt with (and I mean EVER). Their customer service is second to none.

  5. BECAUSE THE PRICK would have slowed down along side the biker just the very same as he spead up as he was to pass him . So he would have been stuck out on the oncoming traffic with with I have a very small cock sitting in his car looking at him doing a head on crash .so i would have done the same keep up the speed till you pass him pull in then smash his mirrors off . Aside from the fact that you're making assumptions, that's great advice for the many on here that are new, or relatively new, to biking. Not
  6. Hang on... other families do this???
  7. It would probably be cheaper to have it delivered (or free if it's a "new" new bike).
  8. The moment it became apparent that he was racing (and was fast enough to cause a problem) I'd have indicated left and tucked back in behind him, even if it meant straddling the centre line momentarily whist waiting to be let in. That sounds a lot safer than what actually transpired.
  9. Lovely - hope the two of you enjoy many (safe) miles together!
  10. Lovely - some more photos please

Great thread, Bob, and it sounds like you're becoming one with that lovely bike of yours. The midges sound fecking horrific.
  13. I vote for twerking.
  14. It's just a sportsbike thing I think Why, Rich?
  15. I do see a lot of clearly experienced riders on large bikes (as opposed to scooters) leave one foot down for some time after they pull away. Madness, really.
  16. I'm quite tempted actually Go on you know you want to I don't think I've ever owned either a tent or a sleeping bag
  17. The site is pretty close to you! Hope to see you at the next one I'm quite tempted actually
  18. Much appreciated, thank you. Oh, and not really - the road split just about there and he was heading for the M1 whilst I was peeling off for Hemel Hempstead
  19. I've just added a short term review to my YouTube channel as I approach my first 500 miles. You can see it or below. ">
  20. Not sure if I'm missing something here, but given how you describe the damage then having it written off and subsequently buying it back for £350 sounds like a potentially sound move. You just need to get a repair estimate, or decide whether you're happy to ride it as is (assuming it's safe) as a cheap runaround.
  21. That looks like a lovely spot!
  22. While riding my R9T, I swerved to avoid hitting a deer, lost control and landed in a ditch, severely banging my head. Dazed and confused I crawled out of the ditch to the edge of the road when a shiny new convertible pulled up with a very beautiful woman who asked, "Are you okay?" As I looked up, I noticed she was wearing a low cut blouse with cleavage to die for... "I'm okay I think," I replied as I pulled myself up to the side of the car to get a closer look. She said, “Get in and I’ll take you home so I can clean and bandage that nasty scrape on your head.” "That's nice of you," I answered, "but I don't think my wife will like me doing that!" "Oh, come now, I’m a nurse," she insisted. "I need to see if you have any more scrapes and then treat them properly." Well, she was really pretty and very persuasive. Being sort of shaken and weak, I agreed, but repeated, "I'm sure my wife won't like this." We arrived at her place which was just a few miles away and, after a couple of cold beers and the bandaging, I thanked her and said, "I feel a lot better, but I know my wife is going to be really upset so I'd better go now." "Don't be silly!" she said with a smile, while unbuttoning her blouse exposing the most beautiful set of boobs I’ve ever seen. "Stay for a while. She won't know anything. By the way, where is she?" "Still in the ditch with my bike, I guess."
  23. Ditto, although my jacket is a Rev'It. They do make matching trousers but they're far too baggy (which is REALLY annoying).
