Recall: Honda Africa Twin Could Stall Due To Clogged Fuel Filter

Is US stock made in different locations to that supplied to the UK/EU (as is the case with Triumph)? -
Heated grips or heated gloves?
learningtofly replied to S-Westerly's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security
No idea, but I read it today in Road (the MAG, errr, mag). However, my post had a typo - I meant to say $1.8m although it was actually $1.93m Luckily its it’s too late for a TOTY nomination -

I like Revzilla reviews too. As a point of interest, their parent company was recently fined $1.93m as a consequence of selling about 7000 aftermarket exhausts that fell foul of California’s emissions regulations! -
Heated grips or heated gloves?

I'd definitely watch her before the Chap With a Cap. I thought she was sweet -
Some 20 years ago I was running about 40 miles every week - I had a BMI closer to single figures than was healthy and was fitter than a fit thing from Fitville. Fast forward a couple of decades, an extra stone in weight, a knee that plays up once I run beyond a few miles a week and a couple of years of inactivity and I have to say that I've found Couch to 5k a really useful tool to getting myself out there again. @Bianco2564, you've done brilliantly, mate, and should be proud of yourself. Keep it up.

Heated grips or heated gloves?
learningtofly replied to S-Westerly's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security
I have both. The grips are a superb always-available addition to the bike and I wouldn't be without them; however, they only heat the inside of your hands and heated gloves are generally far more efficient. The problem with the latter is that they're either bulky if battery power) or expensive and a bit of a hassle (if plug-in). -
Good Morning Good Night and General Chat.

For me, at least, it raises interesting questions in respect of art itself. For example, is the photo lesser for knowing the background of it? I know I feel differently about it than I did. I suppose a bigger question might be whether something becomes art purely as a consequence of a viewers perception of it. A bit like the tree falling in the forest. -

Already bought and paid for - I'm just going in for the programming today. Thanks though. -

My key can't be repaired, unfortunately. I've tried two independent key suppliers and both wanted £230 but in any event couldn't source the fob at the moment. -

Yes, I was quoted the same price for a key for my Thruxton when I thought the spare had been lost. However, I'm talking about car transponder keys with remote fobs. Unfortunately they seem to be a lot more expensive than bike keys. -

I've been driving my little MX-5 with just one functioning key since I bought it a couple of years ago, as I discovered a few weeks later that the spare that came in the pack was knackered and the (independent) dealer refused to replace it. The fact that they didn't tell me was apparently irrelevant as I "should have physically checked the spare key before I bought the car". Anyway, I had the car serviced by my local Mazda dealer last week and decided to bite the bullet at the same time as I'd be fooked if I lost the one key that I have. A pretty standard transponder key with remote fob and it's costing me £200, FFS!! Tried some other sources and I can't get it any cheaper, but it seems that this is much the standard price across various manufacturers. Daylight bloody robbery -
I tried to add The Bike Shed but couldn't quite work out how to do it.

Oooh - apparently it's going to be sunny today, so I'm going to be out on the bike prior to watching Spurs reconfirm their title credentials this afternoon ( @Six30 ) -
I commented on this over on the Triumph Forum, which if I'm honest I knew I should have just left when I decided that I didn't really like the place. Anyway, I posted a comment saying that the little scrotes were clearly scum but that I still didn't agree that vigilante killings were an acceptable form of punishment for theft. I was rounded upon immediately, the most popular response to my post being the one that called me a "limp-wristed, poncey, noncey weasel".

When I was much younger a couple of mates had the pleasure and shared their experiences afterwards. I'll pass, thanks.

I'm going with @fastbob again. Ever-reliable when it comes to bike-related advice, he also started the thread of the year in which he invited us to open up and share our experiences during these difficult times. Aside from that, he also (I'm sure unwittingly) makes me laugh on a regular basis. Edit: Oh, I'm a twat. This is just for nominations, and he's already nominated.

Hah! You're so right about this... I recall walking into a pub in Thirsk with some mates, and a literally everyone stopped talking and just stared at us. It went on too long for comfort
