A fool and his money are soon parted. These have to be one of the more hideous items to have crossed my visual horizon.

Tomtom does it for me. So long as they keep supporting my version.

Oh to hell with that ! I'll soon show them, I'll commit hari krishna by dowsing myself in leaded four star petrol and light up a spliff.....whatever that is ?
Nasty way to go. Rather than do yourself why not try roasting a Green. They're so full of hot air they should go up with a bang.

Last quiet weekend at sea as next weekend all hell will be unleashed upon us. The light at the end of the tunnel of course is that once I've survived next weekend I'll be hopefully in Amsterdam Airport on the way home. At the moment the jury is still out as to whether the light is an onrushing train.

Haven't fitted it yet but I have bought a Mistral Tria polished stainless end can and a cat cover. Supposedly good for an additional 3 hp which means absolutely jack. Got it more for the simple fact it looks so much better.

The should be a baffle or a flap in there which is supposed to have something to do with emission controls. Has it become detached?

Can't recollect too many rides where prayers were an integral part of them. Some exceptions such:
Christ on a crutch what are you doing?
Jesus Christ!
For God's sake are you blind?
That sort of thing.

In which case I'm as mystified as you.

Well done her and congratulations all round!

I'm assuming the battery is in decent nick? If it was left outside for 2 years it won't be. Do you know what state the actual engine is? Seized piston for example won't go.

Telescopic. Fit in a back pack easy.

My experience of moulded ear buds with built in speakers and noise protection is okay if you have Bluetooth ones although they are damned expensive. Otherwise not good as the wires break easily. Off the shelf ear buds aren't designed to be worn under a helmet so don't work very well. A mate tried modifying his helmet liner to fit them in. Not successful.

Morning.
Invited to speak at a conference - for the life of me I’ve no idea how stupid people must be if someone like me has got anything to say that anyone would be prepared to listen to. Still, business class flights, airport lounges, and a sumptuous hotel. I’m going to be incredibly drunk for seven days in June. Honestly, my main advice to the businesses sponsoring my trans national libations is to stop paying for me to get drunk in foreign climes.
Nice work if you can get it. I've only been on 2 such - a short one in Copenhagen and a longer one in Manila. Money for nothing for me but passed a few pleasant days.

Crass stupidity is obviously pretty universal.

I know of at least one wife possibly three who on receipt of that comment would have the observer hitting the very high notes in the choir. I'm not that brave.

If nobody makes them it is beyond the realms of possibility to get one. As old-codger said these Chinese scooters are pretty well a disposable asset. No after market exhaust company is likely to produce one; I may well be wrong but the best I can suggest is search the Internet. You may get lucky.

There's a company in Guildford that specialises is women's motorcycle clothing. Good quality stuff and decent prices with a good website. My daughter uses them. Motolegends is the name.

You mean the number of semi psychos living in the UK today? Worrying isn't it?

Last year on the A1M going past Doncaster there was some guy in the outer lane doing 55. Three cars behind him and nothing on the inside. So I zipped past on the inside. His reaction made me think I'd assaulted his wife, abused his kids and stolen his dog. Played silly buggers for about 5 miles until we got to where the road is down to one lane for repairing the bridge over the Aire (I think) and I filtered up and away. He doubtless went on his way fuming about feckless motorcyclists. Twat.

We were sat for 3 hours on the motorway today. Sat there going nowhere for ages. Watching motorbikes filtering through and going merrily on their way.
I wasn't jealous at all. Not one little bit. Not at all.
Bet you where really. I hate being in a jam in the car and watching bikes filter past (always try and give them room). Love it when I'm on the bike, particularly when the road has been closed and you filter up to the front just as they are opening up again. An empty motorway for a few miles at least.

Instead of being made in a Far East sweatshop they're probably made in a European one staffed by illegal migrants who are effectively slaves.
