1. I am 6'2 and used to have a yamaha mt125 which was fine; it's the 30 miles a day that concerns me - might get tiring. I suppose it depends on if that is each way or 15 miles out and 15 miles back.
2. I'm just shy of 6"1' but I have a 36' inside leg and I love my little yamaha ybr 125.
3. No he didn't take the bait, he even told me it looked like a good bike, although he also said I made it look small
4. Next time there is the old slipper factory over the road from the chalice well that you can park in. It's a bit of a walk but that's where I've always parked the car at least. I
5. The White Hart (not post) with SometimesSansEngine pointing the back ground just in case you missed it, the Kings Arms and the Red Lion
6. I shouldn't laugh but
7. New underwear? I need new under wear. That video makes my stomach do flips
8. The young lad who I saw riding with a red bike light hanging off the back of his scooter because his rear light wasn't working. Not only that but he'd duct taped his visor on and was clearly doing take away deliveries as he had one of those enormous insulated bags on his back. I only hope he's made it home safely. He's been reported to the police more for his safely than anything else.
9. I had the same issue with my new honor 10 only my sim didn't have the option to make it smaller so I had to wait an extra week to play with my new phone
10. I think SometimesSansEngine is trying to use the fact he has a sore throat and actually can't talk all that much as a way to try and get away with this I feel betrayed
11. An example of the funny face you pull when the putty is put in your ear
12. The prick who thought it would be highly amusing to fire fireworks out the passenger window of his car at myself and another motorcyclist when I was riding home. Its been reported to the police. Just wish I'd managed to get the reg plate before he zoomed off. Thankfully he missed us both.
13. Me! For riding in with my helmet undone this morning thankfully nothing eventful happened and I be double if not double checking from now on
14. I had the opposite issue, I was the first in my family not to go to uni so was fairly clueless as to my options.
15. I wish I'd know more about apprenticeships and that they weren't just in plumbing and building etc. I think I could have gone further. I was never quite university material and not particularly confident in my own ability so never really tried, however I wish I'd got an apprenticeship.
16. I had a PE kit that contained my daps and I must confess I only knew them as daps as when we lived in Basingstoke and I worked for monsoon l got very confused by a lady asking if we sold plimsoles and I showed her some white lace ups only to be told "no the black ones kids wear in PE". Why you'd buy daps in monsoon is beyond me but there we go.
17. I confused the poor thing. I was born in St Albans but moved to the west country at 2 but my family is from Liverpool and everywhere else thanks to the RAF so my vocabulary has ended up a bit of a mish mash.
18. So riding in this morning I filtered a few times through traffic. I'm quite nervous with it so I'll often hold back rather than risk it but I've been noticing there seem to be 4 types of driver; The one that spots you and carries on in a predictable manner. The one that stops you and then tries to stop you filtering by moving over as much as they can towards the white line. The one that doesn't see you at all because they at too busy looking at their phone while in traffic. Finally the one that spots you and tries to give you so much room (normally when it isn't safe to filter) they nearly put themselves in the verge. There isn't really a point to this post it just amuses me watching the responses I get from other road users.
19. You could have tagged new in this, I've only just realised you've chosen a number for me
20. I'm rubbish at the whole cleaning thing but I do know that white vinegar and a micro fibre cloth will clean mirrors, glass and chrome up a treat with no streaky bits.
21. Our son is a big fan of literally. He uses it wrongly in literally every sentence
22. I think it is yes.
23. Well it made me smile
24. Poop! That bluming mod 1! I put my foot down during the figure of 8 I kept it together when I hit black ice leaving the school this morning but as soon as I get on that test pad it all goes to pot. Ah well third time lucky and all that
