Not sure he will ride for wins or to help Ellison. Stupid mistake in race 2! Looked like he was holding back for Ellison and then just rushed past Haga and f**ked up.

Don't quote, but when I did mine about 5 years ago insurance companies didn't recognise the bikessafe cert, only IAM or ROSPA will help to get your ins down. Things could have changed in that time though

Can I suggest a slight detour from Horcastle? http://goo.gl/maps/s12Em Just as you leave Horcastle take a left onto the B1190 To Bardney, then take a right to pick up the B1202 to market Rasen. It's one of my all time fave roads and I have friends from Huntingdon that have travelled that road a few times with me (used to ride down and meet them in Boston and bring them up to the Woods) and they love it. If you can find an alternative route to Lincoln the A46 from there to Market Rasen is pretty nice. Or the road from Skegness to Rasen is a good one depending where you're coming from. It's a boring straight out of Skeggy as they've put a by pass in, but once passed that is nice. Get to Louth and swing a left and onto Rasen. Can't remember the names and am on the phone but can put a route up later.

Even though I'm bikeless I may nip over in the car for this if you hold it at the woods. It's only 20/30 mins from me. Be good to put faces to names. I've only ever me Craig and that was when he bought my Oxford panniers off me.

A simple Poll. When I had my bikes (1 at a time) they were toys and I rode all year round, but only when it was a nice day through the winter. I know some people hang their leathers up over winter time, but I never saw the point. I always wanted to be out on my bike at every opportunity. So, do you SORN and why? If not why not?

Completely agree. You don't DRIVE a motorbike, you RIDE one. You don't call Marquez, Rossi etc a motorbike driver!!

Most people above me have Guintoli and Baz in WSBK. Laverty sort of made up in race 2. THought it was all over in MotoGP warm up this morning, but like you said Marquez came through for me. Same Rossi just pipped Bautista to 4th. A good days racing...

I had my Joe Rocket Speedmaster 5.0 one piece (pictured at the RHRS ) altered when I got it. Bought it offline and it was too short on the torso. I got it done from a company in Hull (can't remember the name as it was 6 years ago now.) Anyway, I took it in and spoke to the owner. We discussed what needed doing, 2 inches onto the bottom of the torsoto make it longer, settled on a price and I drove back home to await him to post the suit back to me. Think I got it back 2 weeks later. Really excited I opened the box up and had a good look at the workmanship....... Imediately the zip didn't feel as good quality as the orignal. I then put on the suit and went to zip it up............f**king zip broke imediately!!!! The puller just came away in my hand. Not f**king happy!! Straight on the phone!! You've just ruined my £800 suit that I've not even riden it yet!!!!! To cut a long story short, I sent it back and the guy personally sorted it out for me (I think the person that first did it got the sack). Very happy with the end result and worth the money to get them how you want.

It's hell leading up to Fri night/Sat morning. Uming and ahing lol

I have to go shit or bust in this next game round if I have any chance of catching the overall leader. I am 58 points adrift after pulling back 40 odd points off him in the last game round, so it's possible with 3 rounds to go............

I'm actually in 25th place overall in this comp. I need some luck to catch the leader, but there is still a way to go with some nifty rider changes and might I be in with a shout of winning that bike!!

I don't think it has anything to do with the bank balance, but more to with winning. All these guys get paid a bucket full every year. It all about furthering your career. I'm sure Cal want to become a world champion as much as all of them. I too don't think it's a wise move, but let's be honest, it's bloody tough in MotoGP to get the top 2 factory rides with the grid being so small. I hope it doesn't spell the start of the end of his MotoGP career...
