  1. Help! I've just had a look at taking some preload of the rear as it's a bit to stiff and after consulting my user manual to locate the preload adjuster, seem to made a boob! It's in a bit of akward place a visibility is very poor. Anyway I couldn't tell what setting it was on so I turned it clockwise until it wouldn't move anymore for the lowest setting then turned it the other to get to the highest setting trying to count the clicks/any sign of going onto the next setting. I found it hard to Hear/feel for each notch/setting until all of a sudden I heard clunk. Upon investigation it seems to have gone too far past the highest setting and come off the 'rail' and locked itself in what I believe to be neither on the lowest setting or the highest!!!!! (But I'm not sure) I'm not sure if I can continue turning it anti clockwise as it seem pretty stuck. I don't want to force it. Can anyone tell me if it will continue to turn of is there a cut off point? Also if it has come to the end of its travel is it possible to sort myself? If so how or this going to cost me? Pic below that is in my user manual http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/02/avyry2us.jpg Pic below of situation as it stands. Left arrow is pointing to what I believe to be the cutoff point/point of no return! Right arrow is what I'm am calling the locator http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/02/nuvety3y.jpg
  2. Really pissed off MCN aren't running it this year. Just adds that bit of spice to the racing season
  3. You will need to obtain an ACU licence if you want to race http://www.acu.org.uk/ridersmembers/license-forms.aspx
  4. I guess you guys like throwing your money away. I have no qualms in saving myself over £500 by shopping on the net.
  5. I will let you know when I get some feedback from her. Won't be for a few months though unfortunately.
  6. When I had to give up biking the missus and I got rid of most of our gear... Well now a bike is on the horizon I have sorted our gear out on the net and saved a massive £530 on RRP on 2 lids, a new pair of pants for me, a 2 piece and a pair of boots for my better half!! My missus lid, bought from Lids direct. Great service. Ordered on the 28th Jan and came next day with the free delivery option. Saved £220 on this baby! One of the best designs I've seen for a woman's lid. The pics don't do it justice Her RST track tech evo boots from Amazon. £30 saving on these. On their way. Buse ladies 2 piece suit from fc-moto.de. Saved £30 on this. On its way from Germany My pants. I thought I'd kept both parts of my Joe Rocket 2 piece, but late last year I just couldn't find my pants so looked for ages to replace them. Finally found a pair from Infinity motorcycles for half price, saving £100. I got a new pair of gloves while I was at it. No saving here. Again great service and next day delivery for free as the order was over £100 My lid. I nearly got an Arai RX GP7 to replace the RX7 I used to own as I'd seen one on the net with a saving of £230. However I nipped into a local bike dealer to to try a Shoei Quest ST on but they didn't have any in my size. So I tried a newer Shark model as I'd owned an S800 in the past. Tried the speed r on but it was way too big! Anyway John suggested I tried the HJC R-PHA 10 Plus on...... Wow! What a fit and immediately unbelievably comfortable. Bloody light too, weighing in at an incredible 1200g! So I went away and did some research as I'd never even entertained this make before. Lorenzo wears this model as did Ben Spies. SHARP only give them a 3 Star rating as the side impact apparently let's it down, but I don't give shit as it the most comfortable lid I've ever worn. I then went looking for the best deal and found one on fc-moto.de saving me £150 off what the dealer were selling them for! Just the bike left now. Got my eye on few, but it will be 2-3 months yet...
  7. But he said there ISN'T an issue with the bonnet... My bad. Read the post wrong
  8. Maybe if you'd told them you had an issue with your bonnet and explained how to get round it before you left this might not have happened??
  9. It is from all threads that the donnabella troll started and I presume have been deleted? It is the same for me as i had been following all the threads and waiting to see how far she would get. I think see lasted 4 days lol well done admin team!
  10. It's true. I used to take the cars off the ships many moons ago too
  11. It pissing down here and has been most of the weekend. I can't remember a warmer wetter winter
  12. Ask for a refund and threaten to report him to Amazon if he doesn't. Amazon will go in your favour. All correspondence is recorded and kept on file so Amazon can see he's being a knob and not trading according to their rules.
  13. Sorry to be a dumb ass. What's an FE Teacher Bex? Congratulations by the way!
  14. As an ex driving instructor, I'll tell you what it is. Those people have no spacial awareness. As soon as the line disappears from view they think they have reached the line! My learners used to do it all the time so I had a little trick up my sleeve. I used to park them at the side of the road and lay an object (coke bottle etc) 30 meters in front of the car and play game with them. I asked them to stop as close to it without going over it. The first attempt or two are exactly as you described, way off the mark and it was because they couldn't see it and stopped. After a few goes they all clicked and realised you have to travel a good 6-7 feet before you actually reach the target
  15. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all TMBF members!
  16. How can you spot an Irishman on an oil rig? He's the only one throwing bread to the helicopters. Two Irishmen hijack a submarine. They demanded £2 000 000 and two parachutes.
  17. Are you talking about something like this http://www.secure-a-bike.com/index.html but in plastic? I don't think the side on doors would work as it would be too difficult to squeeze the bike into. EDIT: Just found this this one too http://www.mk-containers.co.uk/motorcyc ... estore.htm They are both a bit on the expensive side though
  18. I'm afraid you'll always be wrong. The exact same thing could happen next time and you'll remember what happened last time you offered, so you'll just leave her to 'get on with it' and then you'll get the silent treatment for the rest of the night for not 'at least offering' Or you could have done them before she got home like has been said lol
  19. I got it from www.archbuildings.co.uk 10' x 8' They have a place in town, but are nationwide. I looked at www.tigersheds.co.uk also, but couldn't touchy feely so opted for the local place as I could see them in the flesh. By all accounts tigersheds look good too.
