  1. There's an old dear who's just died that I know of. House has lots of furniture not now being used. Pop along after dark, the key is under the mat and help yourself. I've sent you a PM with details of address.
  2. For £13.99 I'd give them a punt. A note of caution, they're not free delivery unless you spend over £20.
  3. A 'senior' British diplomat Ms Hall Hall has decided to quit her job in the USA. Who? Has anybody on here ever heard of her? I think it would be quite an eye opener if the government actually published the pay bill that supports all our civil servants at home and around the globe. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7764627/Top-UK-diplomat-quits-just-election-blast-Boris-Johnson-Brexit.html?offset=47&max=100&jumpTo=comment-490031343#comment-490031343 Plus also list all of their achievements.
  4. Their Vwipes are good too, especially for that fine sticky rain that won't run off the visor.
  5. I could see that contaminating the visor and pinlock. Or have you tried it?
  6. A well meaning but misguided Messiah. He would be more credible if he were wearing sandals. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZeWP0N_PYFg
  7. Correct me if I'm wrong but I understood that Brexit was all about keeping them out? So if you don't interpret Bojo's words in a racist context (and I agree that possibly they may not have been meant that way)......then you must be fine with them all coming in then? But that seems to go against what you voted for as far as I can see? His emphasis was controlling immigration "for the first time in decades". Not opening the flood gates.
  8. Coming out of a warm environment and putting on a helmet that hasn't yet equalised the outside temperature, I find the pinlock will fog up. After a couple of miles I find I can close the visor fully and no further fogging occurs. I wouldn't be without one now.
  9. A comment that could easily be taken out of context. I believe there was no racism intended.
  10. A lot of my riding tails off in Jan and Feb, but still use ACF50 to keep the salt out, it does a really good job. It seems to have a capillary type of action that works its way into the tightest of places you wouldn't expect it to touch. Expensive but well worth the money imho.
  11. To handle something like that, your riding skills have to be at the top, his was. A pity something broke at the end. Nice find
  12. Whatever you think of Trump, I don't think he deserved the disrespect he got from so called world leaders Macron, Johnson and (blackface and false eyebrows) Trudeau. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7757525/Donald-Trump-claims-got-deep-respect-got-great-NATO-leaders.html Trump was correct when he said the USA had the least to gain by being a member of NATO yet they are the highest contributors. They should show more respect imho.
  13. Nuffin. Starts first time every time, everything works on it, never gets a puncture (since bikeseal was installed), never misses a beat, oil and water levels never need topping up between services, the only thing wearing out is my tyres. I will probably go for Michelin road pilots 5 next year, 4's are terrific but 5's seem the current bees knees. I like boring Honda engineering.
  14. What a terrible thing to do. Did you receive any counselling for it?
  15. There's been so much doubt sowed in the publics mind through the media and his car crash interview, that even if he's telling the truth, he won't be believed. If this was 17th C England, I would imagine he would be quite a few inches shorter by now.
  16. There's going to be no happy ending for Prince Andrew in this sordid debacle.
  17. My pal loved his sportster, I'm yet to even ride a cruiser if I'm honest... Maybe I will retire on one Definitely an old farts bike
  18. It's off to the colonies for you I'm afraid. Botany Bay most likely destination.
  19. I very much doubt it. Once a certain EU member escapes from the mob, funds will be very tight for that type of spending. @XTreme might end up moving back to Blighty where spending isn't an issue, according to some politicians we have money forests growing everywhere. No hope of moving back whatsoever Smithers! Been here 14 years, long established business, pay taxes here, we own property, and totally integrated into the system in terms of health cover etc. So why would we want to go back there? The only way I'd go back is in handcuffs! Well, after you published a photo of your bedroom on here, you may well be coming back in handcuffs.

  21. I heard about the strip of electrical tape trick years ago and have used it ever since. A must for winter riding with low sun.
  22. I bet you're a real wheeze at parties fastbob
  23. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XDgq10Rsb-0
  24. The Huskies have a very good reputation, Just remember to put a dash of Castrol R in it occasionally. (prompting nostalgic replies)
