1. Electrics in general has always appeared to me as being a black art. I know nothing about it but still find it fascinating to read about it by someone who does. Great posts @wtf .

Bike storage

I had to lay a bike up for over a year some time ago. I left it with about 2/3rds full of petrol and a good splodge of this https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/254309453138. When the bike was uncovered it started on the button and ran as good as before it was laid up. How much 'Sta-bil' contributed to this, I don't know, but I would use it again if I had to.
3. Have a great tour Gerontious and team. I'm looking forward to a few pics and stories on this one.
4. I'm on my 2nd bike with ABS and wouldn't consider buying a bike without it now. It's only there to give you a better chance of survival should a mishap occur. There's just some situations even the best rider in the world could get caught out no matter how alert they are.
5. It might be a good idea to get your bike checked out.
6. I can't see or heard of any legal or moral reason why bikes shouldn't have ads. Perhaps they sell well enough without spending tons of money advertising them. I can only guess that the motorcycle industry is so switched on, it knows where and how to target specific markets for their products. Just look at dealerships for a start. Not targeting a mass audience to only capture a minute percentage makes economical sense.
7. So have you broke the law ? are the cars stationary or queuing ? if they edge forward a few feet while your overtaking them the other side of double white lines they ain't stationary ..... I probably broke the law a tiny wee bit but there was no plod to be seen anywhere. I did take a careful look out for anyone wanting to do a swift U turn to evade the queue. Will I get a fine or ban from the Forum six?
8. Super duper looking bike VersysGTRider
9. A bit off topic, but I filtered passed over half a mile of static cars and crossing a double white line today right to the front of the queue. Long term road works with 4 way lights makes this road a nightmare for car drivers. Smug? Moi? It felt F'ing great!
10. I remember receiving them when I was a kid. I think shooting maybe more humane.
11. That's a heck of a lot of water to go missing. Is this typical of Spain in general or just that reservoir?
12. Images 9 and 10, does that show a high water mark or just lazy Spanish painters? struggling to make 20C here today
13. Nobody should put up with under cooked doughnuts. She was definitely ill suited to that employment.
14. Seeing this article today https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/aug/18/french-waiter-shot-dead-paris-too-slow-with-sandwich got me thinking. How long should you expect to wait for a sandwich to be made? Was the customer right to show his displeasure in this way?
15. I'll give you another 6 months before you get shot of that entry level Harley and buy something decent.
16. I knew I shouldn't have posted this thread, I'm starting to look at sat navs now.
17. Not saying this was an unsafe site, but the willingness to hand over sensitive information without question is what's interesting from an infosec point of view and your device you used to visit the site handed over far more information than you think That's it, I'm gonna get rid of the bike and my device now, I can start to feel the paranoia creeping in.
18. That you bought for your current bike? If you have more than one favourite, let's hear about it! Me personally, it has to be the custom made ear plugs and the BikeSeal stuff you put in your tyres https://bikeseal.co.uk/ fastbob pm'd me and reckons he's over the moon with his recent installation. Well done fastbob, I'm glad you came round to doing it.
19. There seems to be a lot of conspiracy theorists on this forum.
20. I have to admit, I would rather spend my time riding a bike rather than f*****g around with it. If it brakes, give it to the people who know what they're doing, it sometimes works out cheaper that way.
21. You have to give the bike designers a lot of credit the way they style these bikes around a 125cc engine. A great looking learner machine you have there.
22. Made in Japan. My previous Thai made Honda was actually finished slightly better than this one. Just a bit more attention paid to detail.
23. Nothing wrong with Thai made bikes, their build quality often exceeds the Japanese. I've had a Honda that was Thai built, excellent. PS, Honda oversee production to preserve the brand name.
24. I'll put my hand up to the warm weather addiction. I've spent a fair bit of time in Hong Kong, and just love the heat there...and the people...and the food..and the chilled Tsingtao beer Did you still get to ride about on your bike? The traffic over there is pretty insane is it not? No biking for me there, strictly public transport.
