1. Just wiping it off now. Darjeeling I hope? Nice job in the garage btw.
2. Nice pics XTreme, It's great to see the real Spain rather than the holiday resorts with endless hotels and Brits puking up everywhere. You're definitely making the most of your life. Great stuff.

Oops

Nimble and fast rather than fast and bulbous, I like it.
4. Why cancel it? Let it run and take out a new policy with another company for the new car. Your NCD is still valid. Or have I missed something?
5. Where's the confusion fastbob?
6. 190nm!! that's tight. Book for mine is only 98nm, but goddamn it I give it 100 just to err on the safe side.
7. Fair comment Snod, my days of engine and major mechanical re-builds are gone. I'd rather spend my time riding a bike than pulling them apart. Axel nuts and brake callipers are the main targets for my cheap and nasty torque wrenches now.
8. The planet has survived far worse than what we're doing to it. But I'm finding it more difficult to dismiss the science that tells us we are heating up the planet at an abnormally high rate through our use of fossil fuels and the resultant carbon emissions. It won't destroy the Planet but it could destroy a lot of us. Can we pull back from the brink or have we been complacent about it for too long?
9. Nice one mallllias
10. Has anyone noticed what a F1 driver has to contend with while driving at 200mph +
11. I bought this one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Torque-Wrench-1-2-Dr-professional-Torque-Wrench-Calibration-Certificate-Lock/171549899549?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 earlier this year to replace one I lent to someone who basically misused it It's got a good range and you can buy these https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Socket-Converter-Convertor-Reducer-Reducing-Adapter-Set-1-2-1-4-3-8-From-To/232044365968?hash=item3606ec0890:g:e1wAAOSwErFZzRB4 to be able to use it on smaller socket drives. The torque wrench quoted is not bidirectional and should only be used for torqueing up R/H threads. It's also a cracking price imho.
12. Barsteward; A piece of toast when down the wrong way when I read that.
13. I sort of get why bikers in med countries ride without the full clobber on. Day in and day out 30degs + is a bit off putting. They take the risk but don't seem to manage it very well. That's one reason I won't ride or hire a bike abroad. Looking at XTreme in Spain, he manages it very well.
14. Flavour of the month for me is Muc-off all weather chain lube. Cracking stuff and very durable.
15. Welding is not out of the question but on a section that thick it's likely to fail, ideally it needs to have the correct filler, be heated and most importantly a good welder. If a supporting section can be added to the lower part of the frame it would help, I have had aluminium chassis welded in the past with varying degrees of success, the most important variable is the welder. Agreed.
16. Don't entirely give up on the welding. I worked in an industry where welding aluminium was common. It's often the case, the welded part is actually stronger than the parent material. Check out a good engineering shop.
17. Do you wear assless chaps on your scoot? That could contribute to a pain in the lumber region especially if you visit the wrong type of biker establishments.
18. That would work as long as the iridium crystals in the warp core haven't been contaminated, any contamination will change the frequency of the crystals and as the level of contamination cannot be measured for each crystal in the core, there is a good chance that the core will have multiple frequencies therefore synchronising would be impossible Good work dynax, I overlooked that possibility.
19. The oil level might be restored by synchronising the transporter's annular confinement beam to the warp core frequency.
20. I lay upon a grassy bank My hands were all a quiver I slowly undid her suspender belt And her leg fell in the river. - a poem by Sir Paul McCartney
21. Nice bit of kit XTreme . The roads out there look fantastic. Do you ever come across any cars there?
22. A merry birthday to you fastbob. There's more Bike-Seal in the post for you as requested.
