1. I'm surprised you can find anywhere to hide it on a CG . It's all done and fitted , ended up having to rewire the rear indicators as the wiring literally fell to bits from heavy corrosion fastbob it was tight but managed it just, there was the main control unit, a siren and speaker, i do like my talking alarms
2. Just about to start fitting the alarm to Bridget(CG125) that has just arrived
3. It's probably left outside in all weathers with no protection or cover over it, any bike would suffer the same in those circumstances
4. Induction charging is possible but how feaseable it would be is anyones guess
5. I was travelling from the left to the right, he came straight across from the bottom road, luckily it's a 20 zone But how many people really do 20 in 20s, we live in a 20 zone and you should see the speed some twats do down the road I do we have a couple quad's that tear up and down our road which is a 20 limit, at the end of my road is a blind corner, one of these days there will be a head on collision sooner or later
6. Sounds like he was wanting that.... I was travelling from the left to the right, he came straight across from the bottom road, luckily it's a 20 zone
7. A cyclist that rode straight across me from a crossroad, a second later he would have been under the car lucky twat
8. Have a good one
9. Now you're talking. But how would they manage old ones vs new ones and who gets what? This makes better sense, but they would probably need some kind of smart battery which can keep logs of how many times it's been charged/discharged, temperature during use and maybe even gps to track it's mileage and speed
10. Good about time, they won't get none from me though
11. Who's TS? Fish Toolstation
12. Not always, mine did the same but it was the starter motor carbon brushes that were seized and not making proper contact on the commutator
13. You should be okay, Benelli's seem to be well made machines and pretty reliable by all accounts
14. Was under the impression mirrors are not legally required on a bike? Happy to be told I'm wrong as usual of course No you're not wrong, don't need them legally
15. Ebay, had a right old time trying buy something, the twats suspended my account as they thought it was hacked, don't they know about VPN's , took me nearly an hour to make my purchase and now my reset password doesn't work and can't log back in, i wish i could send a power surge through their servers
16. I used to get mail like that till i sent one back asking if they could print the contents on toilet paper to make it useful
17. Bought some extra security chains from TS picking them up later along with a cover from J & S, then all set to get Bridget(CG125) moved to the front and start getting some usage out of her over the coming months
18. It's not so much about top speed with electric but more about the torque available at the throttle, 0-60 in the blink of an eye, once these machines become more obtainable there will also be an increase in used spares as so many will get binned within a short time of ownership
19. Probably need the starter cleaning or replace the internals with a refurb kit, easy enough to do as i did mine last year Go onto wemoto and select your model and look under the electrical system for the starter contact set, but give your existing one a clean up first as that's all it might need
20. This one is leaner legal
21. Not happening atm, I’ve just bought a pricey tablet and a pair of headphones. I’m cleaned out for a few months now! Well when the forum runs out of money don't blame me You can always pimp out Tiggie and Bender
