That back protector looks like it's just made out of foam. I won't use it as it probably won't offer much protection, doubt it's even CE certified.

I never took MM off my team so will check how he does on FP4 to see if he's going to be a good choice for the Gold rider in this race.

Still using his bike even without valid insurance is going to land him in trouble if he is ever stopped by the police. I'm surprised it's not happened yet if his CBT ran out back in November last year. It's unlikely that the woman would report it as she was at fault however it is possible depending on how badly the damage was on her motor. How's the condition on your mate's bike?

I used the longer cable from OptiMate on the same sort of setup as @Mickly but use the OptiMate USB charger and it works fine, they 'claim' it's a waterproof cable but I'm not sure if I believe that statement . Only reason I suggested the OptiMate cable was the cable was short enough for what he wanted it for and it's relatively cheap. Hope it works!

Yup, Anker cables are my go to for cable choice, mainly due to the durability on them, brought one back in 2016 and it's still going strong today even after constant use/abuse from being taken with me everywhere I go. @Mickly, have a look on the cables that OptiMate sell, their O113 cables comes in a pair, one short cable and one long cable, the short cable isn't as short as 15cm but comes in at 30cm. Personally I find the short one too short, lol. Oh, good thing is it's only £4 on eBay. Lol, this was the buyer I brought mine from: Link here

Problem with this is that the seller (OP) will still need to pay eBay a percentage of the sale price fee if it's 'sold', something like 6% or something. (from what I've heard from my brother who has sold something on eBay)

Ahhh, good old Vespa. I would love to own one in an not too distant future, that's literally the reason I pick up motorcycling, so I could ride one. Once I did DAS though, I thought I'll ride the other bikes on offer first before I go back to a Vespa....for now anyway.

If the genuine Apple cable charges the phone fine then like @Stu says, it could be either the charging unit or the battery on the bike is dying so it's affecting the connection.
