  1. I really wanted Miller back in my team but I took a gamble with MM due to the weather so I'm hoping it rains when MotoGP race comes along. *does the rain dance*
  2. I'm hoping for wet conditions for my gamble. I think this is the first time I actually managed to make Moto3 on the telly.
  3. Happy Birthday!! Many Happy Returns!!
  4. I took a gamble, don't know if it will pay off or not. Everything depends on what the weather will be like tomorrow.
  5. Following on from @fullscreenaging, it's actually free now to check your license entitlement. You just need to enter your license details on the GOV.UK. Good Luck! https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence
  6. oooo, I did not know that, learnt something new today.
  7. Are both not the same bike?? Lol. But of the 4 though, Kawasaki looks the parts.
  8. Ok, so I tried to get all the petrol stations nearby me but only managed to find 7 as the one for Jet has now changed to a Esso. So Shell, Morrisons, Asda, Sainsbury, BP, Tesco and Esso. Don't think there is a Texaco until I get near England; will try and find one when I venture down south. So 70 points, yay not last.
  9. Very nice bikes, you and your partner are going to have a great summer! Haha
  10. Congrats on passing your test @gymwitch Hopefully I read your post right as you never actually said YOU passed but your partner did.
  11. My mate brought his the other week where it was 3k miles on the clock, 2010 model with full service history for £1,700.
  12. I think I seriously need to consider if I should swap out Suzuki as my Constructor team as it's affecting my ability to score decent points in each race but then I am Team Suzuki.
  13. I like how they keep the main building the same but then build a modern building next to it so folk could stay there instead.
  14. Visordown's article isn't very good as it doesnt' even show us what the insides of the cottage even looks like, for all we know it could be hollow inside.
  15. Now that I've got my bike back on the road, I'll try and get some tags..... soon.
  16. Haha, Ditto!! I traded away race winner from my team. I'm doing terrible this year. Going to go for the same goal as last year and aim to come 2nd in the end.
  17. Ditto! I did the exact same. Built up NCD helped with insurance on my current bike.
  18. Aw man, you have the best chance to dethrone queen @Hoggs too as she is getting all high and mighty recently. I've just caught up on the FP sessions so far so have made my choices for this races. *crosses fingers*
  19. Welcome @SC7OTT. I live in the Glasgow area so know the main test centre is in Shieldhall. Have you contacted any Bike schools in the area to see if they have any availability? My mate is in the same boat as you where he has decided to pick up motorcycling but is on the waiting list as everyone is trying to get their license just now so the backlog is quite long. Like others have said, getting a 850cc for your first big is not advisable especially if you've never ridden a motorcycle before but it's your choice.
  20. SV650 was the bike I did my Mods and DAS, like Bender says, it's nice and upright; especially when I'm used leaning forward as the only two bikes I've had/rode on was the CBR125 and RF600.
  21. Yeah, the Richa Cyclone collection are decent gear for the price. Great to start off with as they should last you for a while before you need to start looking for anything else.
  22. Happy Birthday! Many Happy Returns!!
  23. I think Gore-Tex is better than most materials at being waterproof but like all other garments, after long periods of exposure in rain, water will eventually seep in; that’s what happened with my Gore-Tex gloves anyway. I do believe regular reproofing the Gore-Tex does help. I have no idea what the difference is between Gore-Tex and Gore-Tex Pro though.
  24. Sorry to hear that @dynax, I'm sure you will get it next time!
