  1. I find it odd that some people don’t think of fags as litter.
  2. If I was rich I would have one of those in my garage along with the other bikes.
  3. Dig for Brexictory! Can’t do that without the garden centre open!
  4. I would Rob but I have my zzr600 and it is brilliant. pro’s of bigger bikes are that they have more power and are capable of more particularly in carrying stuff or pillion and still having ooomph. smaller bikes may have lower insurance. mot seems this crowd don’t identify many pros or cons other than that?
  5. Thanks gang for engaging in the chat, what about the other sizes? The 250s 300s, 400s, nearly a litre, more than a litre. What are the pros and cons in your experience?
  6. Hi gang, I was musing this morning on my commute about how much more pleasant it is on my 600 compared to similar commutes on my 125. That said I’m not convinced that, on any part of my commute except the motorway/NSL roads, I need bigger and I notice a difference in fuel, 50mpg vs 100mpg. I feel more secure and safe in all weathers on the 600, it is less easy (though not difficult) to filter. Then I saw an article about a 250 and a 370 CC (or something like that) and it go me wondering. what are the pay offs and losses as you increase in engine size?
  7. Put a sticker on with your number saying reassembled by Rob, can restore this, call on 6388473783838
  8. We are hoping to be buying a house at the end of the month. No garage in the future so have to think of options. I like the look of the aramadillo cover but wonder about it in the wind. do you have any advice for me about using a cover on my bike?
  9. Sometimes there are good reasons for it. I bet my Mum’s friends and neighbours think that she is lovely etc. My FIL’s Mum is a right ungrateful and unpleasant demanding person whom I would have stopped helping by now.
  10. There are volunteers who can ride along with people to assess their safety driving and report to you.
  11. Just popped a load of chilli and pepper seeds on wet kitchen roll in plastic bags to start them off. I really struggled with my peppers last year so trying something new.
  12. Maybe @Stu can buy it or go halves with me on the part so the job is done right?
  13. Hopefully buying a house. I want to feel like I have a handle on being lead homeopathist, I was new in Feb and then this virus hit (not sure if you heard about it) that hit us in the nhs a bit hard and has definite affected my taking charge of the other homeopathists. I want to grow more food for us at the allotment and focus a bit more on it. With luck I will start a masters.
  14. Have you got a battery charger? I remember being told on here not to start the engine unless I am going ride for a while (at least don’t do that too often because of the impact on the battery).
  15. Indeed but we can recognise it, look for it, think about how it is affecting our relationship With the evidence. In the Case of the Death Penalty it has been shown through evidence not work as a deterrent, the system leading to it cannot be set to preclude any wrong deaths. Logically people have to acknowledge that to be in about of the death penalty you have to accept the likelihood that some innocent person or persons will be killed also. If your emotional relationship with idea prevents you from accepting that you are not being logical. Similarly if some people are happy to accept that there would be some innocents killed and that is worth while collator damage then at least it is honest.
  16. I was referring to Death Penalty.
  17. @S-Westerly once the logic is influenced by emotion it is not logic. It is emotion and thinking. In this case on the one side of the argument there has been empirical data on the other emotion.
  18. I wonder if there is a Venn diagram available,
  19. What was the comment?
  20. Looking forwards to reading about this
  21. Does that mean you are not arguing for the death penalty? You would happily kill the person from your trial if given free from consequence opportunity but that you are not looking to bring back the death penalty?
  22. Not at all sarcastic there by the way. Clearly it is the bike for you for now
