make sure it's ok to use in Ali rads as most car ones are not compatible.

what you worried about, my zrx11 gets about 25mpg and my old 1200 bandit was the same, bandit used to do 100 miles to the tank and has been as low as 82 miles, same on the zrx. if the tank is empty fill it up and ride, don't worry about fuel consumption on a bike just ride it.

MAG motorway/dual carriageway demonstration - September 25th
Hoover replied to Mighty Mariner's topic in Biking events
tghe wearing of hi-vis is according to the eu is not so car drivers can see you on the bike its so they can see you after you have been knocked off. -
they all have a weight restriction, if you dont load silly weights on it it will be fine, just keep an eye on the bends as thats where they snap, and yes they do as I've had one of my pannier racks re-welded recently.

Roundabout question!
Hoover replied to Comrade's topic in CBT, Test and Advanced Training Information
what your descibing is technicly right but it would normally be classed as two exits as the third is back where you have come from, so take it as two exits and indicate as either left or right depending which way your going. -
What would be the most effective means of reducing speeding?
Hoover replied to Throttled's topic in Motorbike Chat
they need to re-calculate the speed limits as the current ones were set 40 years ago and modern vehicles have progressed no-end since then, the current limits are all way to LOW and should be at least 10MPH higher. -
well me and a few other drunken idiots will be there camping, even though its just down the road from me.

every bike that I've ever done has always needed adjusting at the first service and not needed doing again for the next two or three services, had to change 15 of 16 shims on mine at the first (15thou) service. you shoud always check vavle clearances when the engine is stone cold.

well the link is wrong as it states mine holds 20L, when it only holds 19L. My tank range can vary from the worst at 148 miles before hitting reserve or the best is 84 miles. As for worrying about MPG, why???? you have a bike go out and ride it and when its low on fuel fill it up.

looks like a breather pipe, hard to see from the pic exactly where it comes from. are you tilting the tank with a full load of fuel, if so you will find the fuel overflow in the filler neck which is probably where the fuel is coming from.

never have bothered to have a bike wheel balanced, unless your using it on a track or have a really bad wheel, tyre put on in the wrong place you wont notice for normal road use.

inside of gloves stick when wet. [updated]
Hoover replied to mealexme's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security
dont you sweat even more in those? they arent "breathable" are they? they arent breathable but I have never got sweaty hands from them, usually because when its raining its not that warm so they also help to keep the wind chill from your hands, but remember big plus is they are FREE and always more available if they tear. -

try putting some of the free diesel gloves that garages have on first, cheap and easily obtainable and they work -
dont bother with semi-synthetic you will just be wasting your money, just make sure its good quality 10/40w motorcycle oil and you will be fine.
