Anyone with experience of riding or owning a 748 or 916?

Had a mate with a 748 back in the day. Defo avoid something that has stood unless you are convinced they know how to look after a bike and refresh the belts prior to using after a lay up. Anything with headstock or bearing notchiness walk away from as wheelies are easy and if the guy is good and holds them too long the bottom end can suffer badly. Please don`t ask me how I know about the wheelie thing lol. The engines come out and strip easily though lol. Cheers Ian -

I always used the 2 nut method till I got the studs with the allen headed hole, in fact the first time I didn`t realise they had the thing lol fitted 2 studs before I twigged. Not sure if they would be easy to remove that way but I did liberally coat with Copaslip as I always do. Cheers Ian

Way back I worked at Suzuki GB when they were based in Beddington Lane Croydon when I left a lot of the warehouse guys were raided as the higher management were sure they were at it so to speak. Quite a few were convicted including race dept guys. The funny part was that a couple of the higher management got caught up in the operation and apparently anything we minions were up to was way outstripped by the suits lol. Cheers Ian

You are quite probably right and I was just speculating. Mind you if it was one of those grey areas where it was fine if you were careful I would bet they would say don`t do it as that`s a lot easier than dealing with complaints from idiots incapable of following instructions lol. Cheers Ian

Oh well this lockdown lark is getting silly now. Upgraded dartboard with sponge surround halo of LED lights and new mat. Guess we will be playing a bit over the next few days lol.
