1. Shouldn't be any excuse for an untidy garage at the end of this year but mine will still be a tip
2. Remember dreaming of being able to stay at home and play Xbox? I'm not so keen now either
3. Are you in America? I though it was only them that gave guns to nutcases. Does explain all the bean cans though. Sounds very cool. Pics?
4. I do feel for you guys that have been riding your whole lives as well as those that have just started out. I'm lucky that I'm relatively new to it, coming up to 8 years, but long enough for the novelty factor to wear off a bit. My woe is me story is that my two brothers and me all bought new bikes at the end of last year saying to each other "shit time of year to get a new bike but as soon as spring comes we'll be out there instead of starting looking....". First world problems I know. Hopefully the whole year won't be a right off. Maybe look at some line dancing videos and start kicking those heels with style. Sounds like rootin tootin @dynax@ might have some leather chaps and a cowboy hat he can lend you.
5. So as not hijack the cornona topic and so as not miss any recommendations for whisky currently being shared there here we go.... Also be interested to hear about any hobbies, crafts, projects you have going on to make use of the extra spare time. I dug out a saxophone that I took as a swap for an old PS2 I had on gumtree years ago. Never really had the time before but going to see if with YouTube's help I can get a note out of it although a divorce seems more likely than tune at the moment.
6. Were they dressed up as power rangers and doing kung Fu I've always wanted to see two people in one piece leathers have a fight for this reason.
7. What bike are you riding mooip123 ?
8. My motto is go hard or go home and seen as I'm home already I'm going hard I read this out of context and changed my view about you for a minute
9. I understand it's frustrating and I don't know your dad's circumstancesr or his capacity to understand why we are being asked to do this so I appreciate that could be hard, but you seem like a switched in type of guy so your question puzzles me. What about those that don't want to take their chances but don't have the choice because they are keeping the rest of the country fed, watered, warm and alive? There's plenty of people who would love the opportunity to stay and home and do nothing right now but many that are being asked to seem to have a problem with it. Most accidents happen at home because that's where people spend huge amounts of time. It doesn't make riding your bike safer than sitting on your couch. Then you have to get fuel (please don't start saying contactless payment, unless we shut down every petrol station that doesn't have pay at pump) so some poor minimum wage worker is going to have to risk catching it from someone out on his jollies while they do their part to keep the country running. I don't mean to rant at you but this just seems to keep coming up with people looking for a different answer than the one that is consistently given and I've been at home listening to bikes go past all day like normal and it just needs to stop.
10. Needs to be something that hurts the rich as well. Fines won't do it, just look at all the celebrities telling everyone to stay home then going out to parties themselves.. Similar to the field hospitals opening all over the country there needs to be a field prison. Doesn't need any facilities just 4 walls and an entrance which will be turned into the exit once this is over, or as probably all inmates will be dead it just becomes massive incinerator. Would a twat fired power station be eco friendly? The energy could be used to heat the homes of the elderly we save by creating this. Jeez I was a leftie when this started.
11. haha I've given it to you for 2020 and you can keep it next year too Thank you. I'm gonna print it out and out a copy and out it in the bag ready. A bit of PMA instead of my usual PMT. Although if the roads open before the pubs and cafes this could be a struggle for me
12. I thought it was a great idea as a lot of them are places that sell food Oh god i hadnt thought of that....im not far off auditioning for the Roly Polys as it is Just remember. Nobody ever wrote a song about a small [strikeout]ass[/strikeout] arse (corrected to avoid someone suggesting "little donkey").
13. This is optimism of the highest order . Can I have 9 3/4 for 2021 please? To be honest i go out alone mostly and instead of just wondering around it will be nice to have a purpose.....when they let us out that is. I thought it was a great idea as a lot of them are places that sell food
14. No experience of this make but we have interphone f5mc intercoms between bikes in our group. Absolute game changer. Had to install power outlet on bike because if the batteries died we just wanted to go home. Does make for some seemingly insane overtakes which can upset car drivers because the riders in front can call you through. Let us know how you get on I will report progress if I ever get out there again. Cheers Ian We will. It just might be like this

16. They sell pies and pasties at petrol stations. 100 miles between them is more than enough!

18. If that's the Dyna 103 (1690cc) Twin Cam then yes I doubt you would have had much fun on that. The new models are worlds away from what came before them. It's not going to be a ninja or a busa though. It's a different tool for a different fool. Gonna shut up now, sounding like a Harley salesman
19. What the hell is he riding theres no way that bike should be able to handle like that, sounds bloody nice though I suspect there was quite a lot of Erik Buell in that "Harley". Still well ridden and looked a nice well matched group to be riding with. I wonder what they would have been like on a more demanding track? Cheers Ian Come on be fair. If you were trying to make a track "Harley" you certainly wouldn't be using those bar risers for a start and you can see it's Dyna suspension. At best it's stage 4 tuned but we aren't taking about power here we are talking about corners. Please don't think I'm saying it is as capable as even the most basic of sports bikes, just saying that if you can't get one round a corner it's you not the bike. The more technical the track the more he will struggle due to limited lean angle, weight and brakes and many other factors a fairweather rider like me hasn't even considered I assume, but you'd be one of the best people to answer than Ian. Like I've suggested to Richzx6r , try and get a go on a new Fatbob 114 or even better if you can find one the brand new Lowrider S. It would be great to get an honest review from someone with your kind of experience.
20. What the hell is he riding theres no way that bike should be able to handle like that, sounds bloody nice though It's a Lowrider S. When life goes back to normal go and test ride a new Fatbob 114. Not saying you will want to buy one but you will not stop smiling the whole time.
21. This Harley gets round a corner ok. Guy on the BMW clearly taking it easy when he gets past but his poor little ego is so bruised he has to try and be Johnny big balls and still fails to shake him.
22. There is only so far you can ride on a harley before vibration White arse sets in you know. Official figures for mine are 240 which going off use I would say sounds right, I'm sure on a mission of hyper economy I could probably get close to 300 but that just dose not sound like fun, so I will never know Pre 2004 you would have been correct but mine is a 2004 with the rubber mounted engine . I can ride all day in complete comfort . Last year I rode from Coventry to Luss, which is on the shores of Loch Lomond , in one day . I only stopped because the road ahead was closed at Tarbert for maintenance work . Keep the Harley myths coming though . I must be a big wuss because even with the rubber mounts I found the vibration from the Evo motor (only tried the 1200 never the 883) just made my hands numb in about 30-60 mins and the Twin Cam in the bigger bikes not much better. They've totally sorted on the M8 to the point many purists are labelling it "not a real Harley" which is fine by me because I couldn't live with a "real Harley". I do think the EVO and TC sound much better than the M8 though, not that it sounds bad. Fair play Bob you have buns of steel!
23. Ok.... So how do you prove they didn't genuinely think they had it? I know you're the expert on Coronavirus but if you can do this I will be impressed. If they thought they had it.......and didn't......then they should have changed their vote. The Poll allows users to do that.......I set it up that way in case circumstances changed. As it is......one is Bob.......the other two are unaccounted for! I'm not sure the forum and this thread in particular is everyone's top priority right now (or ever). I'm sure whoever it is doesn't mean to make anyone worry and hasn't even remembered that they took part in the survey or realised it was meant to be updated in real time (I didn't but luckily I'm still a no so hopefully I can stay). There are many people that join up for a day or two who are never seen again so it's probably one of them. If anything is going to make people worry it will be the constant commentary on how Britain is doomed.
24. well then .. sell yours and buy a 125cc .. This is like telling the Pope to pray
