  1. And greatly depends on your budget.
  2. Have you tried google? There are loads of them for sale. depends on what type of trailer you want. How many bikes and weights you're thinking of.
  3. One day we will have the self checkout machine saying
  4. Absolutely agree. Some credit card companies will give you cash back. If you pay it in full each month you can end up with a couple full tanks for free
  5. A set of Allen keys. cross head screwdriver knife As mentioned, a puncture repair kit is a must If you can fit a small compressor
  6. I don't really like people. However, nothing wrong in being served. How I miss Waitrose.... Maybe that's why I don't go to buffets either
  7. I don't believe that somebody would have taken my wipers and changed for crap ones. I never changed it, so it must be the original ones...
  8. Can I have another go? please... This time is local Sainsbury. Let me set the scene. Saturday after lunch. Needed some shopping so, set my way. Grabbed a basket because I wasn't doing the weekly shop. Filled the basket with all I needed and went to the cashiers. To big surprise I realized that the only available were the self checkout tills. No way in hell I am doing cashier work. I respect the role, they do a cracking job scanning the items, asking what a parsnip is because they have no idea what a vegetable is and get the wee machine ready for you to tap your card for payment. Some even ask if you need a bag despite seeing that I have 3 of 4 in the trolley. Furthermore, I don't believe any costumer will be covered by insurance. and the prices are the same regardless you do the work or not. Saying this, I walked to the nearest lady from the store, handed over the basket and politely told her "I'm not doing your job. can you please put all this back?" Maybe I was too quick walking away, I didn't hear a reply.
  9. I'm waiting for the survey they always send. If not I'll need to go back. Found out a noise coming from the aircon fan. This episode will last a wee bit longer...
  10. After long consideration, I think we really need a thread on this topic. We have the very popular joke one, and the nob of the day. However, we don't have anything where we can just let out steam and speak our minds. See it as a wellbeing thread I'll start.... The Idiots from Nissan very likely are trying to rip me off (no surprise there) telling me porkies about repairs that don't need done! The moron that made the clip even banged his head on the floor of the car (that's karma for you) and instead of showing the disc brakes from the outside where you have a clear view, was shoing a 10mm gap on the inside. PHOKING IDIOT!!!!! then went about the wipers that were fitted by Nissan, saying they are aftermarket. Strongly considering a strongly worded letter to Western Nissan, Nissan Europe/UK and even maybe to the Main people in Japan. As resolution, I don't think I will buy another Nissan any time soon. Why? Either the mechanic was telling the truth (which I don't believe) and the parts are from Lidl or Aldi Or, he was trying to get his filthy hands in my wallet. Either way, I'm done. That moron just cost Nissan dealership the commission of a new top spec EV. The commission that the sales person would get plus the next service that is in the contract. These guys descended to Arnold Clark level. Considered toe very worst car dealers in Scotland.
  11. I'm a honda man and don't think about changing it. I never had a 125 so I'm not the best person to advise you on that. Over to you guys
  12. Go with option 1. You're young and plenty of time to learn how to ride properly if you're wise and don't start trying to go faster than Rossi. Experience and caution will take you far and safe. Keep in mind that you still have to deal with insurance costs that will be cheaper on option 1. I do believe maintenance on a 125 is cheaper than the 4 stroke counter parts. Having said that, I'm sure I will be contradicted 1000 times by bikers that have/had 125s
  13. Everything they said up there
  14. Oh, it won't go unnoticed. Just waiting for the survey they always send after the service. Someone will have an heart attack. The fact the discs are of poor quality is manufacturer stupidity little to do with the dealer. Just read a review on BYD cars, and they seem trying to beat everybody
  15. I'm on my 3rd Leaf and won't go ICE again. First one was 2st gen 30kw. after that was the limited edition 62kw and now another 62kw. I love the regen mode and if you know how to work it out you rarely need the brakes. They have the e-pedal which works well until you learn how to drive without it. once you get the hang of it you don't need e-pedal any longer. The inspection was done by some idiot who even banged his head under the car when he walked from the rear to the front. That's how brilliant they are... They can try to milk me, I assure you they will get something different. and won't be whipped cream...
  16. Or because Nissan cut on costs and used crap materials low quality parts instead of decent ones. My first leaf had the same discs for 57k miles, 4 years and nowhere near needing changed. Proof of the crap materials they are using is that during the inspection clip, the guy mentioned low quality (aftermarket) wipers when they are still the original. That's Datsun done for me... Will be better off with BYD chinese one. At least I know I'll be buying chinese cheap stuff. Taking it to Nissan because it's a service contract that cost me 350 quid for 3 years and includes 1yr RAC breakdown cover for each service.
  17. All the morons at Nissan!!! Started by not returning a call for booking a service. Then I had to call again and talk to someone who didn't have a clue what she was talking about. Received a load of emails and text messages asking me to make a check-in for the service. (You can suck my fat "$%"£$"£%) then today a text message that the guy would pick the car but not saying what time. Then got a useless clip of some guy walking around the car showing me that 2 years old front discs were rusting and needed replacing. How the phoq discs get rusty in 2 years when they are used almost every day?????? They want over 800 quid to replace the discs and rear pads wish somw shaite that will rust again in 2 years instead of proper quality ones. I can get the front discs and pads (yes, you don't replace the discs and keep the pads) and rear pads for £150 by Brembo. Just to show that once a Datsun, always a Datsun....
  18. Unfortunately I don't do facecrap or any other social media I thought there were 3 of us Welcome anyhoo
  19. Several days stuck in a metal barge? Naahhh....
  20. I agree with your argument about the bike. Too early to get one. You hardly get 100 miles out of zero ones never mind touring on one. I'm on my 3rd ev and won't go back to fuel. Infrastructure is not that much behind. Even more now that the free electricity is pretty much gone you will find plenty of stations with few cars charging. My one does easily 180 miles on a charge during winter which is more than enough for my needs. This always depends on individual circumstances as obvious. I perfectly understand that for some is still not an option. Although, news of much better batteries are announced almost every day I won't be surprised if solid state ones will start to appear during this year maybe 2025. That will bring ev bikes on the game with 200 miles tange and 10 min charging time. Believe you me, they are a lot of fun to ride.
  21. So basically, your radio signal goes out in smoke...
