Help Us Improve - Quick Survey On Helmet Cleaning Services
husoi replied to RFS's topic in Motorbike Chat
When the lining needs cleaning it goes in the washing machine together with the weekly laundry. Was never lucky enough to get it damaged and have an excuse to get a new one Most the time when it needs a wash it's time to replace the helmet. I never share it, so only my head goes in there. There is no such things as sweating in Scotland -

I find it very easy. Legal limits are: 48km/h = 30 mph 64 km/h = 40 mph 80 km/h = 50 mph 96 km/h = 60 mph 112 km/h = 70 mph Anything different you use the constant 1,608 m for 1 mile Mentally I use 1.5 coefficient both multiplying or dividing for a approximate quick calculation.

Have you tried one of those travel sites like booking.com? Trivago usually is quite good also.

That's the main reason I never applied for UK citizenship. One of the most dangerous passports to have abroad in countries that don't really like Brits

Very good morning everyone. Countdown had started. Moving abroad to south Asia by end of march

If washing it then you should apply some scotch guard to keep it clean for longer. Similar to what you would do with a fabric sofa

Keep in mind that the EPC certificates are issued by brainless morons with no chance to get a proper job. EPC is not worth the pdf they are written on. Surveyors have no idea what an environmental measure is even if it would hit them on the face. Those are just another layer of bureaucracy created by idiots to keep some useless people in some kind of weird employment. When I sold my house, the jellyfish brain idiot didn't saw the smart room thermostat, couldn't identify the complete set of smoke and heat alarms as stipulated by the Scottish law. He couldn't grasp the idea that the flooring was A** rated by the manufacturer, even if I shown him the information. Then they advise you to have underfloor insulation installed without telling you that by doing so, your property become unsellable because insulation foam will accelerate the rotting process by trapping moisture in the wood. They have no idea what an led bulb is neither they understand that an oversized boiler will last twice longer than what would be stipulated by manufacturer.

Is during times like these I wish we could have a "ignore thread" button

Today is the phoking herd of brainless tw@ts that since 7am are cycling along one of the busiest roads in south Lanarkshire the A70. Notorious for near impossible to overtake even when you're trying to get rid of those morons on bikes without phoking engines.

Why on earth you would want to do that? Wouldn't exercise and practice help alleviate any pain? I have similar issues with arthritis but not so bad that shifting would.cause.a problem

VisionExpress also have a package that allegedly reduce the glare of oncoming headlights. Theirs have a blue treatment that will do the same effect. I had many years ago a pair of yellow cover lenses that would fit on the glasses for night driving. Yellow filters are known for increasing the perception of details on the road. You will notice this if you're driving on a road with sodium vapor lights (yellow lights) in contrast with the normal white ones. I know cataracts will make the glare worse. However, the stupidly intense led lights that new vehicles are fitted with is the main cause of the problems with glare. Unfortunately the government does phokall about it even if that means additional costs to the NHS as more people will start complaining about it at much younger age.

London is high risk for theft. Little experience is also high risk Any insurer will take your age into consideration, which you don't specify, younger rides will have an increased risk. All this adds to an extortionate premium

Even the carbon fibre bell at under 370 is a great bargain

All depends on the age of your helmet. Is it close to end life? Better spend the money on a nem lid with the features you want. Most new helmets will have shades built in so a clear visor with pinlock would be enough. Tinted visor is good for sunny days but rubbish on cloudy days or riding at night.
