  1. Those wee tatties are very delicious
  2. Good evening from a land far far away
  3. Tempted to go for a rebel 1100. Not many seen around. Yes roads in Bali are a disgrace, almost as bad as Scotland On the other hand Lombok's roads are much better. Less people around, far less tourists ruining it for everyone.
  4. Now they have this one
  5. You will be angry at me. Just saw brand new ones in 2 places in Lombok shopping centre. Personally, anything less than 400cc isn't something I would like. And I like to feel the power between the legs not under my arse
  6. You mean pics like this beef soup?
  7. The opportunity arose for the to make the great move. Somewhere in south Asia, away from cold, political correctness, haggis, riding 3 days a year and all those things that make the Scottish riding a thrilling adventure even if very short one. Having consulted with the governmental authority in the capital I was informed that the amount of tax plus sea transport and all the other things together bring the bikes will be an expensive option. Better buy new ones when moving. Therefore, although sadly, I will have to sell both including the trailer for the pan. I won't be finishing the clock I was working on, apologies to @Stu But more pressing and urgent tasks got in the way. I have all the parts and there is little remaining to be done if anyone wants to take over the project. Finally, you won't get rid of me that easily. I'll always be around to wind you guys up
  8. Hello and welcome. If.you can, buy the bike early in the year. You will get better deals up to April while in the summer or near it you will have to pay more for the same bike.
  9. Hello and welcome to the forum You will find all sorts. Some of us are a all year riders while others are what it's called a fair weather rider. Me, I hady share of all year riding. Unfortunately, arthritis stops me from riding when it's cold and damp. That and being super busy lately with other things and riding had to take a back stage for now
  10. I don't agree with that either. Make a petition to include highway code and driving/riding in school curriculum and I'll sign it

    Flue jab

Unless it's something that will make me happy or pain free. No thank you
  12. You should have the vin number on the donor frame. That's the one you would use for DVLA reference. Not sure if it needs inspected by dvsa as it is a modified vehicle
  13. I would be careful with hot or even warm water over a frozen glass Also depends how cold it is. Likely that water will freeze if really cold. -5 downward is guaranteed to happen
  14. I just sit in the van for a few minutes until the wipers clean the windscreen. Bad habits from EVs Used to heat up the car while having breakfast
  15. So... Apparently, when several big black flies enter your house without permission it is pointless to call the police or the council telling them you have squatters in your place. They do absolutely nothing about it. Then you get a warning not to call again
  16. Why not repairing it yourself? Easier than a bike
  17. They seem legit. You can search further at companies house about if what they say about being an English company is true
  18. Saw yesterday in B&M a air fryer for under 80 quid. No idea the brand. Or how crap it is
  19. PHOKING SOLICITORS Never saw anyone as lazy as them Take forever to do anything and it's never their fault Just a step (tiny) up from car dealers
  20. That looks as safe as the straw house from the 3 Piglets story
  21. After a certain age, waistline becomes safety feature
  22. Being a bike just over 2.2m it should fit as long the doors open outward. I would go for metal garage with a concrete base if you can have it there. Some thermal insulation for good measure and ventilation up and down to make sure condensation doesn't linger too long. That's a problem you will have to an extent with any type of garage. Wooden are cheaper but will last less and require more maintenance than galvanized metal ones. Also, metal will be harder to get in if you don't have the keys. I wouldn't store any gear in such structure because not only will be subject to vermin and moisture but the variation in temperature can potentially degrade the materials quicker

    Air/fuel mix

Use a injector cleaner before starting taking it apart. If it doesn't solve the problem then go with @RideWithStyles and check for air leaks.
  24. https://a.aliexpress.com/_EvsCMI1 This looks really good. Maybe worth the Investment
  25. I would say for you to get a trail type, Africa twin or the like. They are really good teachers and forgiving when you go mental on the brakes. Height will allow you to see further and hopefully see trouble before gets in your way. They are also more comfortable than sports. Once you're comfortable with riding then you can upgrade to a sport bike. Personally I would upsize gradually instead of jumping on a killer machine.
