They are different when standing still because of added weight and usually higher riding position. Unless you will upgrade to a cruiser. You will have a smoother even if more powerful engine. Larger engines could mean a more thirsty bike but not always the case. Once you set off you will have to consider the weight means a different braking process. Good gear won't ever let you down. Everything will depends on the use you will be making. If you're a fair weather or all year rider. What you're planning for the next 5 to 7 yrs. Stay at CBT level or go full license. I'm biased on bikes. For me honda all the way Most here will, rightly so, tell you to stay away from Chinese bikes. They are cheap but you will spend loads of time fixing it. I would say for you to guest start looking into insurance as it will be the most expensive item for a rookie.
