  3. its normally one end internally been wound off due to cable fraying like y ou say not a big problem as you have got the sat nav to check speed by
  4. personally i would set the needle to centre setting then turn mixture screw right in so you have a starting point turn mixture screw 1 1/2 turns out and see how it runs that is a basic set up setting and a good base to work from as you can give it another half turn in or out easily to check how its running, and its normally for bikes to need choke to start in cooler/colder weather and the revs will always be higher due to the fact its getting less air /more fuel.running at high rpm and putting choke on will cause it to die as you are flooding the engine with to much fuel not enough air,the only time you wouldnt have the problem was if it was running to weak in the first place
  5. well at least he didnt charge you i hope are there no other places round there that do it at all as he sounds like a total let down which is disappointing,if he had made a good job of it im sure you would of happily named the company and given them a good review but lets hope others dont have the same problem after all 6 weeks should be enough time for any supplier to gt in whats required
  6. alex slow down with the reading the op says its not on the edge or sidewall but yes if it was i would agree and say replace it but as its in the tread area then leave it alone and carry on

  10. think we need a picture of how both gardens are set out if one from either an upstairs window or from wha seems v ery popular these days a pic from a drone flying overhead unless they shoot it down of course

  13. if its not affecting your property and you havent got pipes leaking underground then tell her to get any work she likes done..........................at her expense as you dont have any kind of water problem on your property
  14. pull the pistons out polish them up if they will if the chrome has all flaked off them then the pistons will need replacing, when you remove the old seals make sure you get the groove they sit in really clean and free of corrosion otherwise they will leak when rebuilt always use new seals and get some red rubber grease to lubricate the pistons back into the seals its the proper grease for doing the job
  15. agree with stu that it could be starter motor on its way out and drawing to much current to turn it over you will need to check drain on battery as someone turns engine over
  16. check up if its the same as t he suzuki gp125 very similar frame just a 2 stroke engine instead of four stroke
  17. here u go and bikes can live in the awning http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2004-Iveco-Da ... 3aa5f7b131
  18. wrong type tiggie they are twin shock round swingarm
  19. buy a crappy old van and live in it with the bikes
  20. first off welcome to the forum please pop into the newbie section and introduce yourself if you are planning on sticking around as we are a very helpful and friendly forum (well most of the time ) as for the swinging arm is it not possible to remove it and weld it up and i have no idea if the hyosung one will fit you would need to do some measuring and cross referencing
  21. i would be in touch with the dealer telling them what you found upon checking the bike over and that as they said they had serviced it when they hadnt are they going to offer to give y ou the money back for t he parts you have now had to buy to do what they falsely claimed they had done
  22. as far as i know you are correct in disconnect battery then remove lead from starter motor then unbolt it and remove it with the new one it will notn locate fully unless the teeth on the cogs are meshing correctly normally so as you fit it into place you might need to twist is slightly untill it slots all the way in then just turn the body of starter motor slightly to line bolt holes up reconnect wire on starter and reconnect battery should be job done
  23. there is an pronounced tick or click type noise along with the normall noises just to let last poster know what was in the audio
  24. but at least if the pipes are under the floors upstairs its not so important to lag them as any heat they lose goes into the house anyway where as if its downstairs then you would just be heating huge wasted space but at least the foundations would be warm
  25. get a long piece of wood or long screwdriver up aginst the casings in different places and place ear next to whatever you put there it will amplify t he noisegiving you a better idea of where abouts its coming from
