  1. Can everyone intending to come to ours on Saturday 10th please add their names (and additional numbers of bodies where necessary) to the list please? Sheepy and Del Walney Frankie TC Akey (plus some others) TENTATIVE Decor58 A crowd from 'umberside (RBLR mob) Please aim to be at ours for around 8.30-9.00 am as we're heading off to Tamworth Services to meet a larger contingent from RBLR over there. Egg and Bacon Banjo's will be available along with loadsa coffee and tea. Anyone else wishing to join us is more than welcome, please visit http://www.rttw.org for details. See you all next weekend!
  2. Sheepy, Best take a squint at the forum, 10 off silver, just become available. Never, its pink or nothing - only a real man can wear pink with confidence!!! Or as Phil would say ITS NOT PINK ITS RED FFS sorry back on topic In which case, I am happy ro be referred to as "not a real man" as I will not, even under threat of removal of groinal appendages with blunt instruments, ever wear pink.
  3. Info Time!!! I think it might be a good idea if we met up with some more RBLR bods en route to Drayton Manor, at Tamworth Services on the M42. It's not a million miles off the direct route to DMP and might mean more bodies in the convoooooy! Let me know what you guys think. Looking forward to the day immensely
  4. No can do I'm afraid, we have my we'en with us that weekend
  5. I have a large selection of buffs at home (funnily enough, most with Sheep on them) which I wouldn't do without, plus a Polar Buff, which is great. Winter, polar buff round neck and lower noggin, normal buff worn as skull-cap type thing inside lid - - - TOASTIE
  6. Get yourself some 2x2 and a decent sized groundsheet and build your own! Cheaper than ever and infinitely customisable to suit your needs! Did it once, don't need one now, but it was good (and fun creating it too)
  7. Not the electric pink monstrosity, Shirley? Eeeeeuughh! If they ever manage a silver one, maybe I will get one, just maybe. Cruz, you have a years' head start on me, no fair!! Convooooooooy!
  8. Kienes problem! I might have a look at forming up at the village green prior to setting off as it givers a fair bit of room for maneouvring around for everyone. We might have ourselves a convoy!
  9. Sounds about right Akey. Anyone who's coming to ours, then as long as we're leaving around 9-9.30 ish then arriving in time for that is fine, no matter what time you arrive.
  10. Cool, sounds good! Anyone else care to join us for a cup of sheep dip tea?
  11. Would be there tonight but Mrs is on a late shift and have to go home to feed the kiddy-winkles!
  12. It starts from Drayton Manor Park at 11:00am on Sat 10th October. Registration costs £7.50 per person See you there!!
  13. Well, you can stop off for cuppas etc at ours when you come down Frankie. We're just off ther A50/A38 junction so a pretty good stop off point for anyone coming in from the North. Will send details to anyone what wants them!
  14. You, perhaps? Git yerself down to here Frankie!
  15. No such thing as a daft Q!! It should be fairly sedate to be honest. >5,000 bikes don't travel in any other way - speshly when there's so many Harleys involved Seriously though, looking at the footage of last year (and Akey was there so he should be able to verify this) it looked like a nice slow bimble.
  16. Probably mate, but it sort of gets lost in the noise of the hundred other bikes tazzing past our house Mate we will be stopping at yours I think, and it looks like my cousin Andy will be with us. Excellent mate! The more the merrier. I guess we'll need to work out some timings as the cavalcade leaves Drayton Manor at 11am, and getting in there will likely prove a bit of a 'mare what with about 5k or so bikes being on site! I know the lot from Rugely way are leaving the RBL there at 9-ish, so I thought maybe 8.30 from ours (2 mins onto the A38, then up, up and awaaaay to Drayton Manor). Let me know anyhoo mate.
  17. If peeps are planning on going and ar coming in from the "ooop norf" direction, please feel free to give me a buzz as we're hoping to make our house an RV (Rendezvous Point) for RBLR members. Akey/Pen, did you hear me and Adele go tazzing past you house this morning?
  18. I never heard about the first "Free" bike night and I only live 10 miles away!
  19. Got to be honest, I failed my first time (through my own fook-ups, I'll admit) but the attitude of the Tester wasn't too great either. Same thing! Second time around though, the new bloke was excellent, putting me at my ease and keeping the banter going. Really relaxed and plssed it!
  20. Stu and friends (Nicola +2 kids Sally and possibly Lisa ) Vicki, Jack n Chloe techno Tentative - Sheepy, Adele, Sheep_onna_ped, Megan & Finlay (mini-sheep) (5 altogether, Adele's shifts permitting)
  21. Apologies for not making it last night Phil, got home too late to be able to make it over in any decent time. Besides which, it was wazzing it down 10 miles from Donington (where we live) from early evening
