  1. Just give me a bell and let me know what time you're likely to arrive Ian. It takes me about three minutes to get there from my house, so flexible with timing! Just don't leave me there sitting around with a McDognuts' type stench wafting through the air, I'll be like a beach ball (well, more like one, at least) by the time you arrive from gromphing on Ratburgers.
  2. Ah! But I've got loads of blood to pour all over mine too Or could it be that I've got some genuinely gory ones?
  3. Yup Im blessed in that I dont suffer hangovers! Infact the first thing I want after a night on the ale is a full english! Cant wait, its going to be fun! Ah! The ultimate hangover remedy!
  4. Morrison's? Is it really? I had no idea!!!! I stand corrected
  5. No great shakes really! We'll have a good time whatever's available for us to use or not! Rennie, it's Tesco that's close It'll be a blast either way!
  6. there's a Tesco just down the road from MFN, save weight, save fuel and go there when you arrive!
  7. Beer doesn't count, that was a given already, and there's a beer shop just down the road so I'm not carrying any until I need to!
  8. I'm taking the car to work on Friday and dropping my clobber off at MFN on the way home to pick up my bike and lead peeps in on Friday afternoon (finishing work at lunchtime). On the way home though . . . . Hopefully my new tailpack will have arrived by then, so rucksack with my maggot in it (ask Akey, he'll know!) tent strapped to the side, dossmat the other side and the rest of my clobber in the tailpack. I mean, what do you need apart from some spare undercrackers, t-shirts, socks and bog-letries?
  9. Once thing from me on this one: If you're approaching the back end of a double or triple line traffic queue, this is where the vast majority of last minute, indication-less lane-hopping goes on. Take extreme care when going into your filter because the drivers will not see you, all they have eyes for is which lane appears to be moving quickest at the back of the jam and they will join it, without looking for bikers on a filter maneouvre.
  10. I just had a new alarm and immobiliser fitted yesterday by Top Marques Security. It's a Meta M357FV2. They're Nottingham-based and come out to fit the kit while you're at work. Not cheap, but when you compare it to the loss in your no claims etc, it could be a winner. On offer for £249.99 fitted at the moment.
  11. ..and here was me thinking it's a bit grey with the odd blue bit showing through!
  12. Just watch them there newfangled GATSO machines on the way if you do come over TC
  13. Hokay, so it's Wednesday, the sun is sort of shining, and the prospect of MFN being worthwhile is looming large on the horizon! Weather permitting (and so far it looks promising) I'll be there with Jason (Sheep_onna_ped) for to munch on MFN's famous Ratburgers and the imbibing of mucho cupsa tea. Anyone else fancying chancing their relative dryness this evening?
  14. Same here phatdad, but in the other direction! Filtering through traffic from Bramcote island through past the Priory and on along to QMC. For some reason the drivers in Notts seem to be a bit more tolerant of filtering bikes than they are in Derby, no idea why though. It must be all the peeps from Derby driving into Notts that are nice Just about to don the jolly old wetsuit to venture out into the thunderstorm I expect will greet me as I open the Office door to go to the bike! Oh, the bike with the new alarm and immobiliser fitted to it today!
  15. Looks like it's me an Rennie and Suze so far then! Any more takers?
  16. That does surprise me! I tried to recycle one of my old inserts into a new visor - not a cat in hell's chance of that coming off!
