  1. I had the same problem on a reservoir lid and we ended up using a dremil to make a dent for a screwdriver to go in to take it out, I like you had no idea either and a complete novice to it! Good luck!
  2. I'm entitled to one, never got one though, probably should judging by the looks of these prices!
  3. Don't best yourself up about failing the of 1. If it takes 10 attempts, 20 attempts or even 100, you will be on 2 wheels have a grin on your face! I failed a fare few times and was awful at the u turn and when I cracked that would mess up on somthing else! Good luck and just keep at it!
  4. Was nice to put real names to faces etc... Cheers to Neil for showing me the way. Also, on my wander around huntingdon on the way back bumped into GOG but don't think he realised it was me! Just came in before the rain I think! Will be back there soon
  5. If you do go tango, chuck us a txt when ur there so I can find you, though a bonnie and speed triple should be pretty noticeable together
  6. Haha I was finding the funny side to it by the time we were back home think I had the best sleep ever last night! It was probably quite a scam because we found out a real taxi would of cost about the same. Also, there were a few shifty looking blokes asking if people needed lifts that appeared outside the train station as soon as it shut (just as we were running and panting up to it). The worst part was when the engine wasn't turning and the guy said its because he hadn't topped up the oil.....lol Was an eventful night and wouldn't change anything I did, except I was lucky we didn't get kicked out on the hard shoulder and robbed...we were quite a state! Glad you all enjoyed the story though
  7. I got shafted with a weekend of hill walking, otherwise I would be there!
  8. Ok, so I had an interesting day/morning and I thought it would be entertaining to share it to you lovely folk. I woke up and got a taxi at 0815 yesterday morning to huntingdon train station to go watch the rugby where it was army v navy. Met up with some folks, had some beers and some food and all was good. By 1700 we went to a the pubs around twckernham which were packed but they closed all the pubs at 1930 which was odd so we got the train back. On route we had a stop at kings cross, we decided instead of waiting in the train station for 30 minutes we would go for a pint, then we thought we would get the later train etc... This went on for a few hours until 0050hrs where we just missed our last train...the station was closed...whoops! So here is where our problems began. We paid some guy 130quid in our drunken state to drive us home, he then broke down on the m11...we then had to stumble into a tow truck to find out he didn't have cover...we got stopped at the services and had to buy a real taxi to get home...all in all we spent 5 hours on this 1 hour or so journey. We got in at 0630 this morning.... Why did I miss the train??? Sorry this is a lot of writing but I am such an idiot for missing the train, defiantly nob if the weekend goes to me!!
  9. It was sunny when I was up here without my bike, must of rode the weather on the back! Hopefully next week it will get a bit better!
  10. Why is the weather been rubbish since I brought my bike up this end...lol
  11. Tbh I love the contour, couldn't imagine what else you would want from a helm cam
  12. I have the contour roam 2. It comes with 2 types of mounts. One for flat surfaces and one for rounded. So helmets, bike fairings, anywhere you can think of, I have seen people mount them on the underneath of a skateboard, it also makes it so your footage is not upside down. The problem with mounting was that the camera is quite close to your head, no the bike it's hard to get it so your helmet isn't in the shot, on my vid in a previous post on this thread you can see what I mean. As far as other mounting options, you would have to buy more mounts but I think there are some different mounts contour roam do and aftermarket type stuff. Could have a look on amazon and see how much other mounts are?
  13. Guess who is ridding there bike up this weekend! And the weather report is awful... If it is sunny I will be there Tuesday, also won't have time to scout it out before so will prob leave early to find it!
  14. Recently started riding in Kevlar jeans, love them, they are so comfy, and probably more co fire than normal jeans! The only things I find annoying is there a bit skippy on the seat at times and the knee armour sometimes is out of place!
  15. Think there is already a thread on this bud!
  16. Good luck! What school are you with? 7 years no claims will be good for your first bigger bike insurance no doubt!
  17. That's the reason I do it. It also helps learn more about the bike and how it works I guess
  18. That`s pretty good editing to be fair! Are you making more videos in the future? I am not to sure yet, thinking of it. I mean that footage was not deliberate, just hd the camera running when I was closing the garage etc...the editing was pretty straight forward, was just a pain clipping the videos into bits on an iPad. Might try my laptop next time as I can store more than 8gb footage then! It was made as a bit of a joke for my gf really, the whole waving at my grandparents etc...lol Glad you enjoied it, I liked making it so will prob make some more, would actually learn how youtube works and stuff though, I only put it on youtube for the forum.
