  1. It's easier on the centre stand coz the clutch isn't dragging as much coz the wheel is turning. Deffo a clutch problem IMHO.

  5. What's your tick over like? Is it jerky wnen hot or just cold?
  6. Buy any Japanese 125 and go from there. Getting an MOT and running right first.

  10. Is it fuel injected? Could be fuel pump or relay not pulling in. This will prevent starting.
  11. Never heard of a split carb before. Any particular reason?
  12. You dont need another carb, you need to clean the one you've got.
  13. Most needles have five grooves and a circlip on. You can move it from one groove to another, about 1mm apart. The washer is normally 1/2 mm thick. You can do yours with more or less washers. Yes it allows more fuel in at mid throttle openings.

  15. If the revs increase and your speed doesn't, then your clutch is slipping.

  17. Put an airline into the spark plug hole , with the valves open and give it a blast.
  18. Depending how big it is, it could bend a valve and eventually the head of the valve could snap off. Do everything you can to remove it, including removing the head.

  20. One washer is normally 1/2 a groove, so you only need one per needle.
  21. Probably overheating. The fan comes on to reduce coolant temperature, but may not be enough to satisfy engine parameters within ECU. Find a suitable chemical to flush out your cooling system or just replace coolant with fresh and maybe fit a temperature gauge in a coolant line. Also check your thermostat.
