  2. the only way i could ride it in real life size is with the seat off and a cloth over the battery to sit on lol. ( i know cos thats how i bought it lol)
  3. yay , i get to see TCat again ... even tho theres no way id fit on her now shes normal size again lol
  4. ours was 60, some are much cheaper , and some also include a discount towards iams....as far as i understand it it can help with your insurance, as they always ask if you have done extra courses and bikesafe is listed
  5. love to, but i think the boss might notice if i go missing for half the day lol
  6. round off???? round is a good shape... did you mean square off?
  7. are they in voice contact the whole time ??
  8. thanks for that alex... i have mine booked for this sunday, so its cool to know what to expect....kinda expecting some frustration regarding the speed limits etc, and a few dissaproving glances at the r6 lmao... but overall really loooking forward to it
  9. congratz..enjoy it and ride safe
  10. on the speed bump question, my instructor was a stickler for going around them, using your judgement to decide whether to go outside or inside
  11. what! no shorts or bikini tops....( yeah hoping for good weather lol)
  12. bummer, i have visitors and appear to be pretty much grounded
  13. have you considered a thundercat, more budget friendly than a cbr, but still a very good all round sporty tourer, and there are some great examples still around
  14. i have spares in a size 6 lol, im guessing that wont work ?? and i guess she could do the sedate rideout as long as whoevers on it promises not to lose her... shes not been riding long , and i want to do route 1
  15. congratz, and i hope you find what your looking for..though cant quite understand how a cbr and bandit are remotely similar
  16. is that the proper list.. cos kitty isnt on it
  17. will be great to see you both again... bring on the madness and Gin, Chiras insisting on coming... shes really looking forward to it... but a bit annoyed that ive said she cant go on the rideout lol
  18. dunno what the other guys will say, but im happy anywhere between 50 and 90 lol... just done a fabulous group rideout to wales, 27 bikes, i rode mid pack, av eraging 50-70 on the lovely welsh twisties, with the occasional blat up to 96 on the nice straight bits.. then again im one of the slower ones on here
  19. count me in, as long as theres gonna be markers for the slower ones like me , as im brilliant at getting lost
  20. definitely worth the weekend ticket at 35 including camping, the atmosphere was great, other campers friendly and the entertainment wasnt bad, plus 2 pubs in stumbling distance, and plenty of security prowling to watch over the bikes .
  21. been there all weekend, weather held pretty well, and it was a great weekend all round, met old friends, made new ones, did a bit of shopping, bit of drinking, lots of laughing, and even went on the scary fair ride . got myself some panniers among other things, so all set for even more weekends away, but kicking myself over not buying the matching tailpack now ive seen what they normally sell for ...bummer
  22. Will meet you all at 12 on sunday by the entrance..tho i may be a little worse for wear after saturday nighht lol
  23. can someone add kitty to the list , not sure if she's definite yet , and she may only come for one night , unless i can find a dog sitter
  24. no reason why you cant corner on a 125 cruiser.. i had a marauder, which has quite a long wheelbase...probably tougher than cornering on a sporty 125, but it can lean in if you trust it... get the pressures right , and learn to lean it in...forget anything youve been told , apart from sensible stuff like look where you want the bike to go. i actually spent an entire night in a carpark practising figures of 8 on mine at one point lol....just get out there and do it
