  2. There's also Gerbin (? spelling) gear bit more pricey thou. Thinking of one of their jackets as they also have arms. Will look up the link
  3. Still waiting on the money at present. Since this thou have decided to go go a Sprint GT Tony
  4. Mark 1's never had them fitted IIRC. Pretty sure it was mark 2 onwards that had them. Look at the Bandit Forum (do a search on google)
  5. Ok coming into a bit of cash and have test ridden the new version of the Caponord with the semi active suspension. Was very impressed with it. Any one else got one or test ridden it and got any views on it? All comments welcome [emoji4]
  6. If it's just removing the wheel you don't need to split the chain. Otherwise tyre fitters would need to do it. Just lift the chain off and rest it on the swing arm and do whatever you need to do. Putting the chain back on is easy. Just put it on the top part of the sprocket and turn the wheel.
  7. Get some high temp silicon sealant. On the end can to the link pipe it will work a treat. Gum gum is just a temporary fix. A proper gasket should be used from the link pipe to the down pipes.
  8. Only if I have to. I prefer to pull in to a junction and turn round that way
  9. yep if you put your right foot down you could fail the test. Not sure if it's a major fault or a minor one thou. Right foot should be covering the brake when stopped
  10. little bit of liquid soap in water put it on the valve and see if it bubbles up
  11. also bought thinks off them in the past. Good quick service. Not too far from me either (IIRC they're in Preston)
  12. What Falkirk charming? Did they not notice the great big flames from Grangemouth ? Use to live in Falkirk (just down from the high) I had a lovely view of the Ochils out of one set of windows and a view of Grangemouth out of the other. So I wouldn't say it's charming
  13. they have to match afaik. if you live in England you have to display L's If you live in Wales you have the choice of either but it's recommended if you go into England a lot that you display L's as most English people won't realise what a D plate is

    Seized sump bolt

Also why torque wrenches are such a must have tool as well. IMV you need two to cover up to about 220 nm. No more over tightened nuts or bolts then.
  15. funky moped Jasper Carrot (for the oldies on here )
  16. Just my bike, Other Half has a corsa and a bike ( lucky her )
  17. be lucky if you don't get pulled for excessive noise.
  18. Did you go and say Hi and ask him why he was such a nob?
  19. I would agree with that. All I've upgraded on mine is the rear shock and full stainless exhaust. The exhaust was because I got caught by the collector rot problem on the bandit. OK it sounds and looks better than the OEM one but that wasn't the reason for it
  20. Does that include all previously sold ones? All it would take is for them to change the design of the ratchet handles or wording font to differentiate from the old and new. Would be quite pleased thou if it did include my set
  21. Ok the Advanced socket sets are on sale again £100 for the 150 one and £110 for the 170 one. There also a 200 piece one on sale as well
