  1. All I Want To Be (Is By Your Side) - Peter Frampton.......that's opened things up nicely....
  2. Bloody Hell Jono....no messing around...... Looks real nice....did you do the spray job yourself?.....
  3. One More F*cking Time - Motorhead
  4. Can't wait eh Priest......
  5. I thought the stop frames were giving the reasoning behind what was being displayed? Road positioning to give a better view round bends.....moving away from dangerous elements (junctions, farm entrances, etc). It was a relatively short video....but maybe enough to spark interest in some people to go and do a Bikesafe or Advanced Driving course.... Anything that will encourage riders to go on and participate in some additional rider training has to be good doesn't it?....
  6. most likely that the brake pedal pivot needs a clean and lubricate as Tiggie says...... if the brake shoes are low the cam that operates them can go over the apex or get near the apex and not return correctly........so a quick check of the brake material on the shoes could be worthwhile too......
  7. 21st Century Schizoid Man - King Crimson....
  8. Sounds like your confidence went up a notch today....nice one... If you felt comfortable with the ride and there were no scary moments then I think you were not getting ahead of yourself.....just riding like you should.....enjoy it.....
  9. Buy a specific plug spanner....will save you loads of grief in the long run.....also easier to get the new plug back in.......just remember to start screwing the new plug in by hand....if it don't go in easy don't be tempted to force it, you'll end up stripping the plug threads...and then you're in REAL trouble.....
  10. Heaven & Hell - Black Sabbath..... RIP Ronnie James Dio......
  11. Some of the stuff on here is discussed and practiced on the Bikesafe course......a lot of emphasis was placed on road positioning and reading the road and situations ahead....and of course, all round observation. I found the Bikesafe course very useful....and bear in mind that I have done plenty of defensive driving courses in the car for work over the years....you can learn a lot from these guys......
  12. Hmmm.....X-ring chains are probably the best....from the likes of DID etc......as for sprockets, you could get Renthal ones......or just stick with OEM if money is an issue. Lots of online companies do chains, sprockets and kits....check out Busters, Demon Tweeks, M&P, etc...... If you're gonna replace the chain and sprockets yourself you may also need a chain splitter/rivetter tool..... Have a look on eBay for your bike....you'll see plenty of advertisers.....
  13. Wildwood - Paul Weller
  14. Gates of the West - Clash
  15. Top fairing infill panels?.......I think everyone has a different name for them......see if there's a parts website with exploded drawings of all the bits on the bike......
  16. Congrats.....Delta Lima passed......
  17. Congrats DL......happy days mate.......
  18. That's far too neat Stu......giving us bodgers a bad name.....
  19. Have you tried charging the battery?......if the battery goes flat and the charging circuit isn't working correctly you'll have these sorts of symptoms......
  20. Ride safely, with good observation and anticipation.....you do it every day of the week......keep it nice and smooth and you'll be fine mate.......
  21. Sorry Roy.....off down to my Mum & Dad's with the lads....
  22. Yeah.....it was here.... viewtopic.php?f=3&t=48675
  23. This is a very good point......if the battery and alternator haven't got the necessary power to drive the grips fully then they won't get as hot as they should......
  24. Mmmmmmm.....that's looking tasty mate.......
