Ideally you'd need to add pannier rails to the bike to support them......but, for the price, they look very interesting....

Thing is, mate....We all know the speed limits ( or I hope we all do), so, if we speed we're doing it consciously and have to accept the consequences. So, the usual argument goes "well, if it all goes pear shaped the only person likely to get hurt is him"......but, would you like your kids to see a biker wipe himself out? If people want to pull stunts like that, then there's plenty of places around where it can be done that won't affect innocent bystanders. Anyway, in this story, the only reason this came to light was when the police looked at the footage on his GoPro after he was involved in an accident where his female pillion passenger was hurt and he was being investigated for dangerous driving.

I wouldn't rule out the oil cooler......it's just in the right place to spray oil onto the top of the engine and tank.....

If you can grab a hand full of throttle from lower rev's in a higher gear and it doesn't slip, then it's probably ok..... You're right, in that it's a single dry plate clutch.....much the same as in cars.... I had an R100 many years back that had an appetite for the clutch thrust bearing......I could strip the rear of the bike and replace the bearing and reassemble everything in a few hours on a Sunday morning, and still be ready to head for the pub at lunchtime...... I think it's a bit more of a task on the newer bikes.....
