1. Mr White Van Man.......yes, I'm going to let that truck that's indicating move out to overtake.....no matter how close you get to my rear bumper and wave your hands about.......I'm not about to risk getting squashed by a truck....... F*ckin d*ck head!!!
2. Welcome to TMBF mate. ........ A lot of people find the bigger bikes are more stable and are easier to ride....... Try not to overthink it........and good luck......

Fork Seals

Yep.....you'd soon know if the seals were leaking.......

Bloody Fixings

No......JIS are the Japanese version of Philips.......but they grip the screw head better......
5. The guys that I know that have done it have used a piece of string and wrapped it around the headers at the approximate spacing of the wrap to get the length they need......then hold it in place at either end with stainless wire...... Wear latex gloves when fitting it.....apparently it itches like f*ck if the fibres get into your skin.....
6. Only heard bad things about it mate.......from people that manufacture custom exhausts......so they probably know a thing or two about exhausts......

Bloody Fixings

Thank heavens for Dremels. .......and their bigger brother, the angle grinder! ........
8. Bar end mirrors work well on my bike......you could try having them under the bars, which would be a bit narrower than the normal orientation. ......
9. Getting written off may actually do you a favour......as said above, who knows what abuse the engine's had......
10. Harpic bog cleaner....The 10x stuff in the black bottle......but you may want to try it on the underside of the exhaust first......just in case......
11. Sweet!.........
12. 765 Street Triple?........nice!.......
13. I've got to say that I've never seen the Mondo Enduro film.......just read the book, which I found quite enjoyable........The same with Jupiter's Travels.....another really good book......
14. Yeah.....Austin from Mondo Enduro. .....A really interesting guy.......
15. I've been riding bikes for over 40 years.......my 2 accidents were in my first 18 months......first one was i came off on a diesel spill on the way to work......second was the classic grabbing too much front brake on a damp road, and entirely my fault as I was following the car in front too closely......Both times I was completely uninjured and both times the damage to the bike was minimal. If you plan to ride in winter you will need decent biking gear and plenty of layers underneath......and be prepared to use other transport when it's really icy or snowy.....
16. Lol. I've never played it but it looks crazy People of my age should know better......fortunately there's 3 of us the same age.....and all as daft as each other......
17. I know it well......
18. Unfortunately we will be away.....so we can't participate this year.....
19. Played squash for the first time in 2 months.......I ache this morning!.....
20. Is it a sign of the times? When I was a kid our entertainment was either kicking a football around or riding for miles on our pushbikes.......computer games didn't exist, TV was (and still is) sh*t, no such thing as social media, etc...... My dad worked long hours and my mum didn't have a car.....so, if I wanted to go somewhere I had to walk or bike it, or use public transport........and then lick road clean wi' tongue.....
21. My bike is connected to the optimate after every run......never any problems starting it.....
22. Bring the bikes indoors and replace the TV with them.....much better viewing. .....
23. Bad luck elizabethf .......but the lesson learnt here is, never trust other road users to do what you think they're gonna do! Misuse of indicators or not using them at all is a real frustration of mine......and those that think that, because they've indicated they can just go ahead and carry out the manoeuvre and everyone else has to accommodate them. My company car is an Audi, and contrary to popular belief the indicators do actually work! Anyway.....you should ace the retest mate.....
24. Congrats matey.....happy bike shopping........ I passed my bike test in Bexleyheath. ......but that was an extremely long time ago.....
