Just keep asking mate......If we can help, we will....... My first "project" was my Triumph Bonneville I had many years back.......I needed the bike to get to work and to see my girlfriend, and I was an apprentice, so wasn't exactly flush with cash......but I learnt a lot from working on that bike.....it's all valuable experience. ..... -
I use a local Shell garage.....more or less the same price as Tesco, but I get about 50 miles more range in my car using the Shell diesel.......and I fill my bike up there too......heard too many horror stories about supermarket fuel.....

The trouble with messing around with the standard exhaust is it's not designed to have the baffles removed......and you may have trouble when you come to sell the bike.....and, as [mention]Mr Fro[/mention] says, there's no significant performance gains to be had.....

Sounds like your clutch is slipping.......is the cable adjusted correctly, with the right amount of free play?.......start with the easy stuff first.......

Bonniebird put some of these links on her Speed 4.....lowered it enough to be useful......handling may be affected, but you'd probably only notice it if you were pushing hard on a track.....I doubt you'd notice any difference on the road......

My OH hates it when I grow my moustache for Movember. ......but it's only for a month...... Unfortunately my bike is not really DGR ......so I stick with Movember......but respect to you for taking part in it.....it's all for a very good cause.....

Well.....I'm at it again......growing some face fungus to raise awareness and money for "mens things"!.....and this year it's particularly close to home for me..... It all comes with practice mate......and even then, some days I find I wobble more than others.....on wobbly days I just trail my feet a bit more or just stop.....

Good news mate......check that the air filter isn't clogged, which would make it run rich......

It's got coil packs on it by the sounds.....so I'd swap number 1 with number 4 and see if the problem swaps over. .......However, it does sound like a blocked jet (assuming it's carb and not injected)......

Your plug caps are coil packs....so there's no separate coils. When you say you checked the sidestand switch, how did you check it? With a meter? If all this is ok, then the problem could be the ECU or the crank sensor......This is all assuming that you've not got an immobiliser fitted to the bike?.....

Don't be afraid of secondhand jackets and trousers.....If you know what sizes you need, then have a look on eBay or gumtree or any of those sites.....

Someone, somewhere, sometime made an excel spreadsheet which you put the sizes of your current shims in and the target clearances and measured clearances and it worked out which shims were needed and shuffling your current shims around to minimise the number of new shims required. .......can't remember who it was now who did this......
