What's the bike's history? Have you tried fresh fuel in it if the stuff in the tank has been in there a while?....

Yeah.....looks like bits of thread from the sump plug hole.......could have been over tightened in the past.

The type and quality of the tyres makes a big difference......as does riding style......smoother riding helps a lot, but it only comes with practice. .....keep going with it and your confidence will come back......

Maybe a few extra holes, but I wouldn't cut the end off......otherwise it'll be just the same as no baffles..... Just be careful with Modding it, as you could mess up the fuelling.....and the bike could actually lose performance. .....

If it really pops and bangs on the overrun, check that there's no leaks on the headers......or, if it has secondary air injection, that's not been disabled......

Glad you're having a good time...... I guess it's all about expectations. .....If you spend £50 a night on accommodation and expect the Ritz, you're gonna be disappointed. .....but if you have realistic expectations, then there's no reason why it shouldn't be good.....

With mine when the SAI had been disabled but before I blanked the ports off it was banging on the overrun.....I mean proper loud.....so I got fed up with it and removed the SAI valve assy and blanked the ports.......but I could have also achieved the same with the marble mod as [mention]SlowBusa[/mention] said.......but I just wanted to get rid of a bit more garbage from under the tank......

Possibly. Try blanking it off and see what happens.....

Yep....looks like the secondary air injector unit......This is for emissions. .......I've removed mine on the Speedy, had it disabled in the ecu and blanked off the ports in the cylinder head......

I'm with Gerontious on this. I have a blood test every 6 months and although I have an abnormal level for one of the things they check for, they set a higher than average threshold for this test. If I hear nothing after the blood test then it's normal (for me). My last blood test tipped over the threshold, so I got a phone call from my GP to say that he was going to refer me to the main hospital in our area. Within a couple of days I got a letter from the hospital advising me of an appointment. I also got a letter from my GP confirming this. I then got another letter from the hospital advising me of an appointment for an MRI scan, which I had this morning. So far it has all been dealt with quickly and efficiently by both my GP and the main hospital. So, I guess it's the luck of the draw where you're located and who your local health care group is......but I have absolutely no complaints about mine......

I used to use saddle soap for cleaning my leather jackets......and neatsfoot oil for protecting the leather......never used dye though, so I can't really help you with that. ....

Yeah.....we'll have to head there for the early season meet next year. I'd need to check with Su when the open on Sundays again......she said they'll probably stop opening on Sundays in a week or 2 as it's mainly for bikers that they open on Sundays, but the numbers will start dwindling now, until next spring.....

I guess it depends on whether you're using the screen on the satnav or just voice guidance........when I use my phone for the satnav on the bike I have the screen on, so the charger just keeps the phone going, but it doesn't charge as such unless the screen is off.......and my charger is 2A......

Nice one, mate...... Yeah, just sounds like you need a bit more practice with the stopping bit......and getting used to keeping your right foot on the brake and putting your left foot down when you stop......but it'll come with a bit more time on the bike....... Great, try to get some close ups of any plates or stickers that indicate the country of origin as well as any gear position markings cast into the engine.
