  1. I'm not an expert in them but the restrictors I've seen in exhausts have always looked like a washer with a hole maybe 1.5cm ish in diameter.

Even if that was a restrictor (which I doubt) it wouldn't be restricting much

  2. Is the bike running as it should? Is so it's probably an overflow hose from the carburettor. Can't quite tell on photo.

It isn't supposed to be connected to anything, fuel will run out of there if something goes wrong :thumb:

If the bike isn't running then that might be something else

  3. I've done something similar at work. We have the fish filleting knives hanging up on a magnetic rack. Hung one up and it slipped off and started falling straight down. My hand shot out to catch it without thinking and I grabbed the blade.

Luckily I didn't need stitches

  4. Was abroad so mine didn't go off

I do think it's a good idea and could be used for a wider range of uses. For example last year I was on holiday at my Brothers home in Canada. We called in at a Mcdonalds for some breakfast and while in the queue everyones phone started beeping.

It was an alert that had been sent out across the whole of Manitoba Province. A 63 year old woman with dementia had possibly been kidnapped after someone had stolen her car with her in it!  The alert was sent out with a description of the vehicle and the lady. She was found safe approx 10 hrs later after someone rang the police to say they had seen a car matching the description given on the alert.

  5. Packing for holiday day 🙂

And as a plus my new stihl strimmer ( well, new to me) got delivered this morning. Won it on auction for £85 so was fairly happy with that.

With it being a Stihl I know I'll always be able to get parts and keep it running. At least that's the excuse I gave to the wife

If you do load your CV up to a database then be prepared for some very odd vacancy opportunities appearing

I've seen it from the other side too.  Advertised on indeed for a fryer with at least 5 years experience. Got a guy who's work experience was primarily data inputting but he had once worked a summer job at Mcdonalds

  7. Talking with guy at work about new phones. It's just not exciting anymore like it used to be when getting one. They are all same shape, do the same thing, never notice any real difference between them now when "upgrading"

I miss the days of having different sized and shape models, flip phones or sliders, tiny little nokia 8210's etc etc

  8. I am not going to talk about the safety issues etc as I haven't got the time/energy to look into it. What I did notice though is that it's a subscription service costing £17.99 a month!!

The world has gone subscription mad

  9. Am I the only one who didn't realise there was an allen hole on the tightening wheel for when you want to really clamp down on something?

Not Motorbikes though. That would be weird.
