I was happy this morning. I only had to de-ice the outside of my car. Every day this week the inside of my windscreen has been frozen over 

13º on Monday apparently!

I am not a fan of most remakes in general (there are some good ones obviously) but certain films just should be left the hell alone. 

Should have the Australian law in that you cannot claim compensation if you are hurt/injured while committing a crime. I guess that just makes too much sense

When working as a jeweller that was me every bloody Monday 

People would buy chunky gold chains or fancy watches etc on a Friday to wear out over the weekend with the plan of getting their money back Monday.

A friend of mine was telling me a story at her Dad's funeral of how she once asked him for the recipe for the amazing chicken pie they always used to eat when she was growing up.

He always told her it was chicken as he knew full well she'd never of touched it if she knew it was thumper

I learnt not to lie to the Police at an early age

I was around 13 and got pulled by the police whilst I was skiving from school with a mate. My mate had the bright idea to tell the officer we were both expelled which is why we weren't in school.

Of course a quick phone call to the school soon brought out the truth. Best bit was he didn't take us back to school, instead he took us back to the station and left us in seperate interview rooms all afternoon before finally taking our sorry selves back to school........ 5 minutes before bell for hometime
