    RS2 Matrix

Put it back the way it was, at least it worked!
  2. I was in Scotland two weeks ago, the midges were only a problem in Glen Coe, near Inverness and Edinburgh there were none. My main tip would be to ride on the A87 from Invergarry to the Isle of Skye, the views are just stunning as long as the weather is clear! http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee259/Voodoo1972/Tartan.jpg

Eh, you must have owned some old bikes. All my bikes in the last 20 years have all had metric nuts.

    I Killed it ;/

    What bike is it?
  6. Its every mechanics worst nightmare snapping a bolt, what you need is a bolt extractor, you need to drill a hole in the end of the bolt and then use a bolt extractor. Like This These are snap-on ones but I'm sure you'll find them much cheaper at Halfords etc.....

    gpz strange noise

If it is a baffle, I'd have thought you could bang the exhaust with the palm of your hand (when the engines off) and you'd be able to hear it rattling

    Unrestricting

I hope you haven't put ZXR750 carb tops on your bike then P.S. Its much nicer when you do!

  11. I think some cars do have two plugs per cylinder. Isn't there a Alfa Romeo Twin Spark or something?
  12. Nice to meet you Phil & Bundle, we'll have to do it again sometime soon! http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee259/Voodoo1972/DSC00055.jpg
  13. See you at 10.30 at the C&F
  14. Sounds good to me, see you at 10.30!
  15. There's usually a section in a haynes manual like that, might help you to get started.

    chain lose?

You'd find it difficult to change gear if it was too tight.
  17. Well I'm up for meeting at Matlock, should be there between 11 to 12

    buying brake pads

I prefer doing bike brake pads rather than my car but only because you don't need to jack the bike up and take the wheel off
  19. I had a centre stand go on one of mine once, and it started doing the same thing. You could always take it off and get it welded, but its probably easier and cheaper to get one from a breakers.
  20. They all sound like an easy fix, are you sure thats all thats wrong with it?
  21. You might need a new stand, if it were me I'd put it on the stand and make sure all the oil is off it and inspect it carefully.

    Idle wild...

You could, but as soon as you turn the handlebars the revs go up, which could be a little exciting if your doing a u-turn

    Idle wild...

It's not really for adjusting the tick over, its for adjusting the slack out of the throttle cable so it doesn't rev its nuts off when you turn the handlebars!
  24. I'm off work all week so give us a shout

    K&N Air filters?

I had K&N filters on a bike once, and I thought they were the biggest pain in the arse ever. If they got wet then they couldn't breath so everytime I washed the bike or if it rained then the bike ran really bad.
