As stu said, dont bother with the alarm. you cut the power, they drop the bike in the middle of the road, see you smiling and run back to 'kick your ed in' as your bike gets run over by trucks etc. Alternatively, you remotely kill the bike, the thief falls off and gets run over and winds up in a wheelchair. He then employs a smartass lawyer to sue your arse off, and you get found guilty of deliberately endangering the life of the thief by remotely killing the bike and are liable for a big fat payout to the bike thief! Maybe a bit far fetched, but with current legal system, nothing would surprise me if a bike thief sued the bikes owner becaue he fell off and hurt himself Better to just let it go, hope its broken for parts, and use the insurance money to buy a new one
