One or two fools who ought to know better, having watched Top Gear, have asked me if I would be interested in running a Euro trip for novices next year.

There is a poll I hope , so give me an idea on some numbers and I will see what can be done.

It looks like camping (Groan!!) although if enough people want to B & B it, ever better. so probably a week to ten days, maybe two different places, probably in the Alps.

I'm planning on going back to Europe next year at Easterish time depending on work.

I want to finish what I started in 2006....South coast road of France and into Italy heading South depending how much time I get off from work.

Voted as interested.

Would need to know when.

Also interested in knowing about attitude taken towards riding? I am not a fast rider in any way and am worried about holding everyone up. I'm not a total wuss, but being a novice and careful rider I don't want to be pi**ing everyone off by holding everyone up.

Really interested though as touring is going to play a large part in my biking life.

Thanks

If i were here ide be up for it !!

Kiefy you might want to have a word with barry at Appleyards as hes run several big tours over the last few years and has got some good contacts for biker friendly hotels (well priced)

For those who watched the top gear last night "the Stellios" is chalenging either up or down those hairpins.

I'd be interested, Sounds like a good laugh. Been on bike round Europe a half dozen times but last time was over 10 yrs ago.

I voted, " go away you old fool", I just had to

I did europe on bike this year and won't be doing it again for the foreseable future, but, if you've never been, go for it, it's great.
