Nogin
Thats the plan! Its a Civil parking notice, I think I may just tell them to Fook off!
Colin the Bear
And then add court costs and legal fees to restore your credit rating. All parking is civil these days. £60 sounds like an on road contravention , maybe double yellows or the like.I think an extra job to pay them off is on the cards. Ingah
And then add court costs and legal fees to restore your credit rating. Not necessarily relevant if it's a private parking company. If it's a privately issued ticket there's no need to respond or pay and it seems that not even acknowledging communications from the firm is the way to get the least threatening letters through the post about it.But if it was issued by the council you need to actively appeal or pay it as they can actually prosecute the registered keeper of the vehicle.http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclai ... ng-tickets
Tango
Frankly I'm disappointed with you Nogin.......you're the biker and therefore the rebel, lawbreaking maverick......seems that your wife has the better biker attitude......

Nor is a £60 demand for money with menaces for "overstaying" in a free car park for a few minutes, which is often the sort of thing that prompts this situation.
