Badger08
'Noon everyone! How hard is it to recover a bike seat? i am guessing some replies will state how long is a piece of string. There is nothing fancy about the seat so i cant see it being very hard but what are your experiences?Cheers
Tango
I've not done it yet....but I have a 2nd hand seat, gel pad and new Leather seat cover lined up ready for when I get time. I think that as long as you have a staple gun and a bit of patience it should be easy enough.....

Danny-B-
I recovered my ZX7 seat last year (dont have the bike anymore) and i found it fairly easy with a staple gun. Can be a pig to get round the corners done without folding the leather and causing creases, but the longer you spend doing it properly, the better it'll look i bought this from ebay ... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330856852781? ... 1423.l2649i plan to do my VFR seat shortly too as its fairly discolored now

Nell
There's a chap by the name of Tony Archer at Harrogate who did my bandit's seat, and considering the fancy material, gel pads and embroidery work, he was very reasonably priced. Adam
I haven't done it myself but I've watched this video in the past and it seems pretty straight forward. "> His other videos are worth watching as well.
