Todays nomination goes to the arse head who had a flat tyre on the A14. Not a huge problem you may think but this turnip had stopped his car on the outside lane of a 3 lane carriageway. Congratulation for making everyone in the 2 mile tailback late for work.

And there are more....

Today it was a 'blue' van driver who thought it was 'funny' to pull out in front of an Audi A5 to overtake a lorry, southbound on the A1(South Biggleswade R/bout) and then stay alongside the lorry doing 56 (ish) MPH all the way to the 3-lane section just before Stevenage. The tail-back was HUGE.

if only vehicles were fitted with ground to ground missiles! (as in Thunderball).

2 today...

-1st goes to the guy i work with who absolutely hates bikes and bikers. When i mentioned about filtering to the front of the queue of traffic that builds up outside work due to roadworks he said 'Yer i normally see you guys coming and pull across so you cant get through'. So i said 'Problem is we still get round you idiots dont we!' So he retorts with 'Yer i hate that too. My reflexes are far more acute than you guys (meaning all bikers) so you just hold me up when the lights go green'. Me: 'Riiiiighhhhht' this coming from a guy with a clapped out old Peugeot diesel who recently rolled his car driving like a tw*t.

2nd goes to the stupid b*tch in a white Ford Fiesta. Sees me filtering down a long line of standing traffic so swerves out to try block me off. Thing is its a very wide road and there was nothing coming on the other side. So move 2 feet further out, overtake, move back in.

What the hell do car drivers have with bikes filtering?! Me getting home quicker does not effect your day in the slightest!

Just squirt mayonnaise over the windscreen. The wipers just make it worse. The result is the same ;)

Some knob on a 125 ('L'-plates) tried to cut across traffic at a r/bout in Stevenage this evening. Guy was in the right-hand lane coming out of Gunnels Wood Road and turned left across the front of a car who was already onto the r/bout going straight on.

Biker (knob) tried to accelerate but just ended up being 't'-boned.

I actually felt sorry for the car driver!

Anyhoo - Biker down, no obvious sings of injury but acting confused (concussion?). Ambulance there in less than 2 minutes. Police in about 5 minutes. As I left (about 1 minute after the police arrived), they were already questioning the biker.

It is idiots like this which give biker's a bad name!

The little butt munch in the renault clio gets my knob of the day.

He was in the wrong lane for the turn off he wanted, and then moved in on me without indicating so I accelerated ahead. This seemed to frazzle him.

In a 40 section I got some distance, but he closed, and then pulled onto the other side of the road to overtake after tail gating me. He won't make it by me before the bend at the end of the road, and I'm in no mood to brake for this knob sack.

This move seems to make him think I stabbed his mother, he's flashing, beeping, and flooring it to catch up. But inside 10 seconds we reach 4 cars in a row that are travelling a little slow, and I make a single clean pass, which he can't.

So in summary, he was in the wrong lane, didn't indicate, tail gated, failed to make an overtake in time and was then annoyed when I zoomed off. Riiiiiight.

Time machines will be outlawed if they are ever made as I'd have journeyed back to hand his father a condom.

I do sometimes enjoy playing with those idiots who drive some stupid little hot-hatch and automatically think their car is the fastest thing with an engine on Earth. I guess they see a 125 and think, "Yeah! It's only a learner bike! I can bully it!" which they can, but then they make the mistake of thinking, "Yeah, it's a ZZR1400! I can bully it!" And then get their arse handed to them on a plate ...

Just had a call from the local cop shop - "Could I please call in and give a witness statement for the accident on Gunnels Wood Road yesterday" (see above post from me).

It would appear that the biker is trying to claim that the car was at fault.

My dilemma - tell the truth and the Biker will get 'done' or protect the KNOB and the car driver will get it!

Sorry but the KNOB is going to lose!

I hope the 125 rider will be given pause for thought. I once saw a kid on a 50cc 'ped ride up the left-hand side of a bus, while the bus was turning left. I honestly thought he was going to die.

A single seat Harley Davidson is NOT the right vehicle on which to transport a 4 yr old pillion.

Especially when the 4 yr old is sitting in front of the rider. On the tank. Holding the bars. With a helmet 10 sizes too big. And no gloves.

The law says that pillions should be able to use the pillion footpegs. Which means they have to be fitted. Along with a secoind seat.

I regret not catching sight of the number plate, as you WOULD have been reported, to the police and social services.

Irresponsible twat.

A nob of the day is a nob of the day no matter how they get about. Do the right thing pal

Done!

The interview / statement was taken with a Biker cop present. His comment as I left was "We are 'crushing' his bike as it was not insured either".

I assume this means the car driver would need to pursue a compensation / repair claim through the courts?

NB. The cops would not tell me their plans for prosecuting the biker but, at the very least it is going to be 'driving an uninsured vehicle' and possibly 'driving without due care and attention'.

Hope he loses his licence.

KNOB!

Shame about the bike itself.. didnt deserve such a crap owner

frustrates me that in these cash-strapped times, with everyone concerned about geen issues and recycling, that the police think its appropriate to just crush a perfectly good vehicle just because its owner was and idiot.

Surely they could sell them and generate some much needed cash!!

Why do people do it ?!?!?

are you seriously asking that????

are you not aware???

they are excellent drivers who can multi task and are the safest out there

the law doesn't apply to them and they are far more important than anyone else

its a bit like BMW drivers! they dont need indicators as everyone should move for them
