Fozzie Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 One of the big greats of our time. Grew up listening to a lot of his stuff in the 90s. Brilliant musician, and a huge loss. True to form he released an album just days before his death. Was a good sign off. Quote
fq-craigus Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 RIP Bowie, ill keep an eye out for labrynth on tv soon as a tribute Quote
Gin Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Was thinking this morning of watching it again as tribute. Quite a shock on the news this morning, in my head he still seems so young and strong. Very sad news indeed and thoughts with his family and loved ones.. Quote

Phooey Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 He was one of my idols when I was growing up. Got me grounded when I was 13 after buying his newly released Aladin Sane Album. I played the track 'Time' full blast with windows open! Mother wasn't too impressed with some of the lyrics.Great man and I for one will miss his music. RIP to a great man and musician Quote
eastanglianbiker Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 listening to an evening of bowie on radio 2 Quote
Tango Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 I was never really a big fan of Bowie......but, having said that, Heroes is amongst my favourite songs of all time......and I do possess Hunky Dory and Alladin Sane, which are always on my phone and mp3 player...... He was an innovative song Smith that's for sure......RIP Quote
