TC1474
I bet his journey time to work in reality was no quicker despite his blue flashing beacon. Much more expensive though http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-northamptonshire-38665781
Hoggs
Are Astra drivers the new BMW drivers? Because they really seem to be ramping up the dickheaderyhttp://metro.co.uk/2017/01/12/driver-defends-parking-over-two-spaces-to-stop-his-car-from-being-scratched-6376554/
TimR
Use to be a difference of a minute or so between Serv Surrey and London blood bike (non blue light) and nhs blue light delivery from Tooting to Medway (dartford ) ..we would play leapfrog throughout the journey. Yes we had blue light enabled bikes but was bound not to be used as not trained or insured . And fitting to civilian cars was a huge no no due to the construction and use regs on blue lights .He deserves all he gets and to then drag the "blood service" ( presumably the voluntary section) into the courts just goes to show he is more doing it for his kudos than to make a difference . Hoggs
and to then drag the "blood service" ( presumably the voluntary section) into the courts just goes to show he is more doing it for his kudos than to make a difference . The court also heard that, after his arrest, he told police he had applied to join the blood service and that the light would have been used to do urgent runs between hospitals. However, he later admitted that he had no contracts for such work. Dragging it in for the sympathy votes maybe then realising that when he couldn't prove it had to do a swift Uturn.Hopefully they will throw the book at him

Westbeef
If they park like that at the back of a supermarket where no one else parks anyway I don't care, if it's right near the front then it pee's me off and that's probably going to cause people to key your car anyway. Joeman
Buy a cheap crappy car and the doors are made from tinfoil. If he'd bought a descent car they don't dent as easy.If I saw him parked like this I'd be very tempted to park a motorbike in the space next to his driver's door - plenty of room for a bike! XmisterIS
To be honest, he seems a little deranged. I think he needs a psychiatric assessment, seriously.
RantMachine
Avoiding the car being scratched by behaving in a way that will likely prompt vindictive people to scratch the car intentionally... smart move right there.
