Hi everyone, I'm new. Here is my current iron steed. I've had her a year and taken her from stock to here.

My mechanic done the valve clearance and swing arm bearings plus got the rocker powder coated, new tyres.

I've since;

Cut the frame and fitted oem 2015 cafe racer seat.

Fitted adjustable ohlines shocks.

Fzr 1000 exup Ru forks yokes and new bearings.

Fzr600 fender.

Shiney engine covers

Rental super lows and brace

Gold spot R1 brakes and braided lines.

Stainless used collector.

38mm exhaust mod, very very loud lol.

Custom rear light with integrated indicators.

Blacked headlight and clock bowls.

Black levers.

Full service.

She handles so much better now but is still a big girl, like stopping a freight train but so much torque it's still fun. Comfey with it:-)

Thanks guys, I almost went clip ons and after market zorsts but the stock pipes just suit it I think, looks meaner and more retro muscle imo.

I think the clip ons with destroy the comfort.

Probably do custom headlight and kolo Speedo next winter tho... Maybe wavey discs too:-)

Yeah, love sweat and tears:-)

Need to fibre glass the undertray and paint it, most of it is done then. Could always add a hugger... Undertray... Performance mods... List goes on I guess lol.

Lol, not really. I tend to get a bit obsessed with my hobbies. Shed built isn't too expensive, it's just the parts and time.

Lovely bike but it doesn't look loud enough!😀

I've not done enough miles to know pal tbh. Only covered 2-3k in the two years I've had her.

Purely a weekend toy above 10deg c:-) and I have a young son so not like I find much time usually.

As a general rule xjr are bomb proof (knock on wood)

100k plus is a regulatory, oil-air cooled so no head gasket to worry about, 1200cc, redlines about 10k. Add to that It's not a Suzuki so all should be good hahahaha.
